TLDR; Great game, amazing story, action, explorations and some really good funny moments. In general shows what a AAA game should be at release, or closely following release. BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before the title Baldur's Gate 3 made by Larian Studios, I had no idea who this game developing company was. And to be quite honest, was kind of skeptical towards the game initially. This due to game industry's trend of releasing, 50+ euro, AAA games that have been lacking quality and story, the last few years. Then to add salt to the wound some of these AAA games have "pay to win" BS or "Battle Pass" with overpriced cosmetics that doesn't improve the game at all... Even with my great skepticism, I still bought it as I saw so many people on Discord "Game Activity" play it. And to summarize my experience:

My skepticism was proven wrong by Larian Studios!

Summary of a few aspects of the game (AS OF BEFORE PATCH 5):

Story: 9/10
The story is great! But still have a few stories where it feel a bit rushed, mostly Act 3. To be fair it could depend on your choices during play through. Especially when it comes to Mols story line (I have seen that this has been worked on in patch 5, with some other storylines being improved too! So I will mostly let it be as a note for people that plays on pre patch 5)

Action: 9/10
I have played the game almost exclusively in "Tactician" mode, and find it a good challenge at times, getting outplayed by a computer is an experience... But now in later playthroughs, it has started to feel a bit easy, especially how easy it is to cheese some of the fights that are supposed to put up a challenge. (Again patch 5 is coming with new game modes that will add even more challenge and experience to the action, so its just a comment on the patch I have played as of writing this review)

Exploration: 10/10
The amount of hidden entrances, hidden rooms, locked doors to lock pick, insane level design and lore relevant things in the world proves that the game was well thought through, and the level designers, artists, lore writers were all in a team with no rush of hastingly put something together to sell quick to the gamers. Thank you Larian Studios for showing HOW A GAME SHOULD BE MADE!!!

PS: This is the first game I actually vote for Game Of The Year awards, as it has simply blown me away with the quality, story rich experience packed in a great action and exploration narrative.

At this point they have given much more than orignially promised at release, for free. So highly recommend!

Very poggers, for its price and size, really good game

Was good untill they thought rebranding it for consoles and just completely ignoring the problems for endgame players was a good idea. Games dying, because of lack of passion form dev team lately. Hope this LOTR MMO is a banger...
