Void Interact's Ready or Not may have had its fair share of bad PR in its conception stages. I was hesitant on buying this title because of that but the Steam refund policy gave me ease of mind of trying it out for myself - oh boy was I happy to have given it a try. As a veteran of the SWAT 4 series, this game has a lot of potential to be its successor and even at this stage of alpha release, the price is just right for the amount of development into this project.

With the many titles on the market catered to fast, run-and-gun gameplay, RON is a breath of fresh air for being slower-paced and requires players to plan out tactics in clearing rooms to accomplish their mission. At the time of this writing, the AI is super trigger happy and have God-like reflexes but that can be fixed with a few tweaks to their response time. The graphics, sound, and music quality is on par with AAA games. Of course, there are a few glitches/bugs but nothing significant that ruins the experience for me. Other players have reported crashing on both Direct 11 and 12 - I have not experienced this whatsoever.

If you are debating on buying the title, I strongly suggest giving it a try and see for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

Best series for newcomers to join in. Many QoL changes from the old games, with additional skills for all existing weapons. A must buy for any RPG fanatic.
