I'm not the kind of guy to rib on a game for being made in Unity. Two of the greatest games of all time were made in Unity.
This feels like a Unity game(derogatory).
I was expecting a scavenger hunt game with vibes, but the last bounty always ends up requiring to sift through low-poly clutter that somehow feels both too disorganized to be meaningful, but too sterile to be lived-in.
There is an intermittent "chirp" within the SFX channel that I though was my cat for the first dozen times but was somehow important enough to integrate into entire soundscape.
But in the end you can't stand on stairs without slowly sliding off, and to me that's unforgivable. The video essayists steered me wrong on this one.

Gameplay is as deep and intriguing as the story. It kept finding ways to surprise me.

This game is great but none of my friends will play it with me :(

To friends I normally describe this as "Game of thrones" meets "Settlers of Catan" meets "Redwall", but that doesn't really do it justice. This really is a great german-style boardgame with mechanics that takes full advantage of its digital platform.
