One of the best buys for the content. Talking as someone who is not much into a western type of games/movies and so, i waited over 5 years for a discount to try it and see what the hype is about. And... i get it. Story is amazing. Characters are rich and environment beautiful. So much to do between missions, all the random encounters from tiniest events like a person just talking aloud about their life... to straight up side mission storylines to follow just by encountering someone during free roam.

Took me 97 hours to complete a whole campaign and i wasn't focusing too much on hunting or fishing, which would substantially require another 100 hours to craft cosmetics. Sure i had some free roaming sessions just to explore some areas i haven't been to yet or stopped by a pub to play poker for an hour. But around 60-70 hours was purely on story & side mission content.

No microtransactions along the way, no grind required, just pure immersion. I can see why people praise this game so much and i gotta highly recommend. This is how you make single player games folks, take notes.

A 3-4 hour long walking simulator type of game. I enjoyed discovering what was going on and the thriller vibes it brought. However story was a little underdeveloped, with not everything being fully explained and ended without definite conclusion. Trailers are giving it a little more action vibe, while in reality progression is mostly slow exploration, discovering emails, audio and video logs that hint the story and a little bit of thriller slowly building up.

If you like sci-fi, slowly uncovering story as you theorize what exactly happened, more of a 'Interactive Movie' type of games, you will enjoy this. If you expect combat or horror oriented gameplay, look for something else.

Early Access Review
- I opened more card packs than i sold.
- A guy came to my store, i bought his rare card for 2600. He returned the next day and bought same card for 3500
- I have Matt Murdock visiting my store on daily basis. Didnt know his powers can also sense whats on cards
- Queue of customers is regularly watching me opening packs from 8 to 12am as they wait in line to be served
- Had a girl trying to negotiate price of rare card to sell me. She was not happy about my 9.00 offer, but my follow-up 8.99 offer was, i quote "Best Deal Ever"
- People see me spray stinky people in the eyes and then leave a 5 star review
- Perfect depiction of employee attitude. As soon as 9pm hits, they drop a box of valuable card packs on the ground and leave asap.

Amazing addicting card game shop simulator!

Welcome to Satisfactory, pioneer!
You are sent to uninhabited planet full of resources as a pioneer of organization called 'Ficsit' with the task to mine the planet's resources and turn them into parts, which then needs to be sent back to space through space elevator. To do that, you have to slowly progress through 9 tiers of technology, each bringing new parts that you are required to mass-produce and new gadgets that you can use to improve your abilities to automate, build and explore. Through this journey, you will be accompanied by Ficsit AI, that will provide briefings and information as you unlock milestones or complete objectives. While construction of automated factories is the main feature of the game and will take most of your time, there is also a little bit of mystery, in form of searching for alien artifacts and by doing that, you will be getting attention from... something creepy.

The game can be completed... is what i heard. But hell this ain't no walk in a park, prepare to spend around 200 hours to entirely complete everything. I guess about 100 hours are possible if you rush through everything and doing bare minimum. But if you explore all the technologies you are earning and make use of alien artifacts, a lot of time can be wasted in this game.

You start off with a simple tasks, making iron rod or screws. Simple enough, place 2 buildings, connect them with conveyor belts, connect them to electric grid and you just made your first factory, that automatically mass-produces a product. While this starts simple in a first few hours of a game, complexity increases slowly overtime. After making products from iron ore, you will have to exploit copper ore, products will get more complex, you may have to combine multiple ores to create a more advanced products. While product complexity increases, so does the number of resources needed to build it, thats when MATH starts to become a bit important and before you know it, you're planning a giant 3-floor factory in a excel sheet. When you think you finally mastered product automation from ores, get ready to work with oil & water and incorporate tubes with liquid into your factories. Of whats that? Closest oil node is 2km away from where you are producing everything? Transport starts becoming a problem, you will have to implement, starting from automated trucks, through making a complex automated train systems and even more advanced ways of transportation. The further you go, the more aggressive alien-animals will be guarding resource nodes, so you may have to invest into some weapon improvements as well. Oooh, fair warning, giant spiders are one of the enemies, super-creepy & eventually inevitable to face.

This is a massive time waster of a game and i mean this is best way possible. I don't remember last time i ended up spending 6+ hours A DAY playing a single game. Glad i don't have a girlfriend cause after such playtime i probably wouldn't be in relationship for long. Sure, you may find faster ways to complete your objectives instead of building beautiful factories with perfectly load-balanced resources, but taking that extra time and experimenting with what game is offering feels very rewarding. Hell even exploration, environment is gorgeous, even exploration can be relaxing... as long as you avoid the aggressive natural life. I'd say this is the kind of game that i would binge-play from the start to the end and then take like a few months long break before starting over (cause lets be honest, you won't remember what the hell is going on when you return after a long break)

Pros:
- Insanely long playtime. Progression very well balanced
- Great optimization, no crashes, no fps drops, perfectly crafted game
- AI assistant & random story inserts add humour & mystery
- Relaxing in terms of not being under pressure with progression
- Co-op possibility (although i'm solo-only so far)

Cons:
- Variety of mobs. It is not focus of the game, but imo there is a potential in adding some more combat-oriented gameplay
- Realizing mid-game its already 3am on work day

9.5/10
Now if you excuse me, i gotta start planning my next factory.

Spoiler-free quick review

Pros:
- Story is really good, twists that i did not expect, really enjoyed what went on & can't wait to explore other choices. Some new mechanics not seen in previous titles from these devs are enjoyable & well done.
- Dead By Daylight references. If you know DBD, collectibles have a meaning and are fun to search for. If you do not, story does not rely on knowledge of DBD universe.

Cons:
- Too short. Not only that, there is just not enough of action. First half of the game is all just a build up and second half has moments where something scary is happening, but then suddenly you are at the end and you feel like there could have been so much more of this.
- No signs of which choices are right or wrong. Unlike Quarry where you could kind of tell which major choice is most likely leading towards survival, here you are presented with a choices without any indication of whats right or wrong. What that means is it is much easier to make a choice that ends up fatal to one of your characters

I do not regret spending full price on it, however i expected a little more after Quarry. Still a worthy story to go through & i'd highly recommend the game when discounted.

Early Access Review
Quick short review for potential buyers - this is far from finished!

Early Access launched today, that features standard 1v1 with 3 factions, custom games with easy bots, Co-op with one free hero and first 3 missions of campaign, + some more missions & coop heros to buy. As a 60e pledger and coming from Starcraft 2, this is far from being its successor unfortunately, but it's not as bad as reviews are dropping today. Campaign is a lot of fun, reminds me of Warcraft 3 campaign. Art-style is not my cup of tea, but its alright.

Since this is early access, i won't be too harsh on everything & seeing all the updates since first closed alpha, things are going in right direction for now and i still have high hopes Stormgate and while i don't think this is successor to Starcraft, i believe it will end up being a nice addition into world of RTS.

It will be free starting August 13th, so give it a try.

Alright, third time's a charm!

I did a bit of research about these type of games (F2P Looter Shooters), even tried Warframe, compared it to First Descendant and here is my hopefully last review:

Simply - It's... okay for what it is.

Apparently Warframe defined the kind of grind that should be acceptable, including prices & f2p norms. And First Descendant is simply doing it their own way, althought highly inspired by business model of Warframe. So i give them this - if people enjoy experience of grind to unlock characters, who am i to tell them that this is not right. I live by the saying 'Live and let live'.

For me, this game does not value the time i put into it... For the most part. When i launched this game for the first time, there was actually a really good experience - gunplay is fun, progression feels rewarding, graphics and effects are amazing. While system of improving your character and weapons is a bit complex, in the end it makes sense. Entire campaign is available to be played for free and you even get to unlock a few guns and character basically by just playing. But slowly as you progress, it especially becoming apparent is after 10 hours - when you realize that unlocking a new character becomes a chore of repeating the same 3 missions over and over, until you get that one item you are looking for. For some characters its like 20% chance drop in a 30 second mission (with 5 minute cooldowns and sub-chores & more luck-based drops which can take up to half hour), while for others much later in the game it can be even down to 3% chance for playing the same 20 minute mission.

While i don't quite understand how people find it fun to grind for it, it is what it is and i accept it. It's not for me and if i didn't do research, id leave this on negative review. But i'd lie if i said i didnt enjoy the campaign and about 80% of environments i went through before i decided that i'm done. If the grind wasnt so bad or shop prices were a little more acceptable, i'd possibly spend over 100 hours in it and maybe even spend some euros there. However thats not how F2P works nowadays, as no matter how much you enjoy the game, grind & money is pushed into your view more and more as you are progressing to more difficult missions until you reach a point where you decide that there are other games that deserve your time and offer more, even if you have to pay to play them.

So i decided to give it a thumbs up because of 40 hours, most of which was a lot of fun and if the Grind is your middle name or your wallet is too heavy, you will most likely be happy to spend 100s of hours in this.

Pros:
+ Fun smooth super-power & gun combat
+ Entire campaign playable without spending money

Cons:
- Overpriced store & greedy virtual currency pricing
- Relatively complex system of research and crafting
- Unlocking new characters is EXTREMELY grindy and tiring + luck based

Fun comedic single player experience with a tons of "Rick and Morty" humor. Earth gets invaded and the only way for you to save it is to become bounty hunter, collect talking guns & hunt!

The strong point of the game is a humor and story, if you are looking for a laugh with a bit of casual shooting, this is perfect. Gameplay is smooth, exploration is fun and environments are quite stunning, pleasure to look at. Combat is a bit of a Doom-style, but much easier. Difficulty of the game is relatively easy, i played first playthrough on Hard difficulty and i mostly had no problems going through all encounters and bosses.

Now for the weak points. While guns might have multiple abilities to make uses of, not much innovation comes during the combat encounters. Simplicity of the gameplay can also be considered a strong point for many. IMO this game should be played for its comedic tone of everything, while gameplay is just a fun addition of the storyline. There is also not much replayability after a campaign, which is relatively straight forward. You can explore around and find some random NPCs that will be happy to share their thoughts with you. You could also look for more chests and collectibles if you are fan of that, but they are well hidden with no indications where you can find them. It is more of a one and done experience for me - and don't get me wrong, its a really fun experience!

If you are looking for some adult comedy game without leaning into too complex gameplay and are okay with most likely one-and-done experience, i highly recommend grabbing this!

Basically a Slender game on drugs, but instead of walking in a creepy forest and searching for 8 notes you browse the creepy websites and search for 8 hash codes.

One of the few games that scares the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. Like to the point i want to play it but am scared to start it up. Very unforgiving and quite complex game that requires 3 hours of avoiding killers and threats that come when you least expect it... all while you browse creepy websites looking for 8 codes to complete the game. Infrequent threats are perfect at making player paranoid and nervous for entire 3 hours as any death forces you to start over. This playstyle is not for everyone, but something about the challenge, atmosphere and economy mechanics is very intriguing making me want to keep retrying.

The only criticism goes into some of the mechanics that cause instant death and ending your run are not obvious and you will most likely die if you don't know about them, like for example Noir being able to instant kill you without any warning if you have too many lights turned off or assassin having very small chance to instant-kill you whenever you open a door after 11:30. IMO such mechanics should be properly explained or there should at least be game over explanation of what you did wrong. This is the kind of game that is designed to make you lose unless you actually make effort of doing hours of trial & error or looking up at least a basic guide.
