Tower Wars is another fun while it lasted tower defense game... you'll play it for a while ... leave ... come back to it. This one has really good graphics and is set in a medieval/modern world. Narrator dialogue has the right amount of humor... new twists on weaponry & upgrades are also good. Multiplayer is also fun. The upgraded graphics in this tower defense game will tax a normal video card as is reflected in some of the comments in the community HUB. However, I have had no issues or crashes... the game looks/runs very well, but I am running a 4G video card :-)

I would recommend this game for anyone who enjoys to play/collect tower defense games... it's a good one to have in library.

Early Access Review
Prison Architect is an early access prison simulator similar to Roller Coaster Tycoon, Simcity, or the like. It has elements of sandbox/construction with managed tiers for punishment, rehabilitation, kitchen menu etc... right down to micromanaging each hour of each prisoner's day. You can decide to create the most horrific environment for your prisoners... or maybe you want to excel at rehabilitation & prisoner "recovery". Either way the well stocked options provide freedoms to the user that all simulation games should have... most of the features seem to work already! Game play is kind of "real" ... with comic book style scene transitions & backstories. However if you can get past the prison thing and just "play the game" it is very enjoyable and addictive. Though this is an early access game it is totally payable in it's current state.

If you like simulation/sandbox/management style games... or enjoyed any of the "Tycoon" series of games... this is one with a more serious story line/undertones (you can skip the scenes also). Definitely worth checking out.

Obulis is a puzzle game where you try to drop colored balls into their "containers" of the same color. There are all kinds of obsticles/puzzles/containers/apparatuses in each level reminiscent of the well known android app called "cut the rope". The physics engine is not always consistant ... which you only really notice because some puzzles are designed to utilize the game physics to get the ball in the hole so to speak. The game is light on options in that you only can mute sound effects/background music, but overall fun and enjoyable. This game is good for casual play if you like puzzle games ... they can be frustrating at times. :P

Bridge It+ ... a physics based construction game where the object is to span distances using different materials. You begin the game with only iron then steel.. as you progress through the levels you gain access/unlock more building materials allowing you to span greater distances etc... graphics and lighting are descent in this game, and can be altered without "waiting for time to change". Features such as stress / load / environmental tests are fun to play with. Triggering a 7.0 earthquake for example is a fun way to usually watch your creation decimated in a split second ιllιlı. My experience was over-all o.k.. I had some issues with controls/getting click features to respond accurately while building which slowed down the pace of the game. I don't see much activity regarding updates/patches, and the last "news" on the STEAM HUB was posted in NOV2013. I recommend this game for casual play if you just want to mess around with another "physics/construction" game ... BUT at @ half the price it is currently listed for on the Steam store.

Action! is a very easy to use piece of recording software that can be used for capturing gameplay/audio/desktop images/etc... The program allows for easy file management, and quick key assignments. I use this almost exclusively for recording virtually anything I am piping through my pc. I can record 1080P video by simply hitting F9 ... or record a separate audio track with F10 .... maybe a quick screenshot just hit F12 .... or do all three (depending on your hardware capabilities). It isn't able to record/export in H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) ... but 1080P is good enough for me. I have recommended this to several friends, and all have reported back happy with the software's performance and ease of use. There is a streaming feature built in, but I haven't tried it... if I do I will update this review. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to be able to record high quality videos and audio via a very user friendly interface.

11.25.2018 - the biggest issue with this now is that updates usually break your setup and you have to go through all of the settings again and again.

World of Goo is a puzzle game all based in physics where the goal is to build/construct different apparatuses with wobbly black balls of goo that you have to catch while they are rolling around on what ever it is you are trying to accomplish.... You have to build these apparatuses in order to get to "the pipe system" so the leftover goo balls you didn't use to get to the pipe can be be sucked up. This is the levels/score part of the game. Each level you are required to suck up so many goo balls in order to advance to the next level. This has always been a very fun game.... simple and casual play .... worth a look.
