I am a 58 year old father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I remember watching the film in theaters when i was a teenager. I am now a single father to my son, who is now 17. My son recently downloaded The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and in less than a week, he had already played for over 50 hours. This was terrible for me, as it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his autistic friend Mitchell playing catch, or just watching dance videos on TikTok. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, but the menu was really bad, i eventually figured out how to join his party. I asked my son for help and he put me into a "family" game. I loved it, as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my wife had died. We were calling everyone on the victim team racial slurs after the game ended, together as father and son. Just like the family in-game, this experience brought my son and I closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house finding unsuspecting victims and making there heads into head cheese! (we even use the jowls). This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, even killing, and it has brought both me and my son many happy memories together.

I am a 58 year old father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my son, who is now 17. My son recently downloaded Modern Warfare II and in less than a week, he had already played for over 40 hours. This was terrible for me, as it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his autistic friend James, or just watching fortnite videos on TikTok. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, but the menu was really bad, i eventually figured out how to join his party. I asked my son for help and he put me into a "shipment" game. I loved it, as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my wife had died. We were calling everyone on the enemy team racial slurs, together as father and son. This game has ever since brought my son and I closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house going to clan meetings. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my son many happy memories together.
