I bought this game out of the hype, but I really don't see why this game has such widespread appeal.
PROS:
- low price point
- more forgiving than the traditional survival game
- UO-like skills, AKA skill increase by usage
- Progress follows you, it's not tied to your server
- PVE Focused

CONS:
- Feels like an old game
- Building system is a bit clunky
- Doesn't feel like it brings anything new compared to other more established survival games with a strong accent on PVE like Conan Exiles or Ark.

Overall, I requested a refund because I don't think I'll be playing it more than I already have.

While this game is hard, it is very encouraging to keep at it. Levels are relatively short, so it's easy to keep at it until you succeed, and you don't need to go through a whole level to fight a boss, which makes it easy to try again. Definitely recommend for people that likes platformers

I tried twice to start this game, and its age made it kind of painful for me. But the third time I tried, I went through the options, and I noticed you could set the camera as 3rd person instead of being isometric top down, and that allowed me to go through it and enjoy this game. I really liked the storyline, and I would definitely recommend.

I guess if you like games from the NES era, this might scratch your itch, but the controls are not really on par with other platformers that came out recently (like Guacamelee or Hollow Knight). I didn't play long as the controls were dreadful, but it's weird that it asks you to do platforming when you don't have nice controls to do so.

I tried playing with a controller, but holding the joystick to shoot while trying to hit a button to jump at the same time proved to be too hard. This game was too hard for me, and had to let it go

Probably one of the best platformer I've played in the recent years. I put it up there with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Super Metroid
