I can tell you that if you like building ships with meticulous precision and detail and then like to watch those ships go into battle and murder one another in a ferocious fury of gun fire and explosions then this game is for you. I could see why people would like it. It's like playing Madden but only doing the GM parts and watching the game simulate. Seeing if the team you made is good or not.
