The performance was bad, and got worse with the new update.

the Free coop was nice but it legit gives the other player no way to upgrade their flasks .

Not worth $50+ But was worth $20 on sale

Let's cut the BS and start with THE FACTS. THE SERIES IS A HENTA! GAME!!! This is a spin off, So expect lewd scenes, pervz~

My thoughts: The detail to animations and metal slug like explosions, superb. The hub world theme with the drums going while you craft something that could make you immortal, and the vibes alone make this game just worth the price alone. Like picture it, 2 maids gunning down random demons and whipping them while using grenades and head crab spiders! Crazy...

The bad parts: is the make or break for the game. This game has a wonky fast travel, so much so that areas deep in the maps have certain spots to go to, which also are rather ♥♥♥♥♥. IMO they get better when map exploration becomes your playground to roam and discover new secrets you might have missed, but kiss that sweet map completion % score goodbye. since they forgot that...

LOOT: The loot is ever so rewarding to get when you get to new areas, and more so when you can kill everything you look at in seconds~ if you like to hoard items, YES, this game has a wide arsenal of items/ game breaking tec if done right! Then stick around, but the first few hours will be you running and slowly getting stronger and stronger the more you search the map. Like you're here for cute scenes and becoming an unkillable maid, right?

What to expect: It's what I can best say is a metroidvania with MASSIVE areas and challenging fights (Played on the hardest mode in coop) be they hit harder to make it artificial difficulty, as per one's views and opinions.If you love rng loot, weapon min maxing, and backtracking, this is the game to get! You can drop 20 hours and enjoy every moment! Explore the map, pick up new items, enjoy the game; rushing a metroidvania is cringe.

The price, I’m sold: it's double the content of the first, Like if you know, you know! [ spoiler] The game makes you play each stage twice! and a third to find collectibles panties... [/spoiler]

The good ol days: Like an older genre game, you will not be given any info! You're gonna need to use that brain of yours and figure it out! And later, you gotta use it! Tech from the first game will come back, so be ready to SLAM your face into every wall and be granted that 1/25% chance you found a secret wall.

A few mini spoilers: in regards to those items I mentioned, those are what the enemies you kill drop! sweet, the not so sweet part is there is no shop to sell them for more money , but with the gear and gadgets you have, you'll pick up that some have stats on them. more attack, luck for items to drop and even hp.

End rant: I could rant on for hours about the crazy builds you can make, but this game is like if it took hollow knight map layouts, painted over with a soft-core henta!, terraria loot drops from the enemies, and stole the rng stats from decoration gems from monster hunter, and made the best pixel art game I've ever played!!!! I will buy the third and play it when it comes out, It’s only up from here!!!

YES , this game is LIKE SO GOOOOOOD, It does the metroid-vania to a degree, but Just this game compared to "shantae half genie hero", KICKS THAT PILE OF CRAP RIGHT OUT THE PARK.

It's fun, has well hidden secrets and has challenging boss battle
