idk why everyone is praising this so much- it's Stellaris with most of the features missing. Ships leveling is done well, other than that there isn't much going on, and the snowball is crazy. Tech is weird and unsatisfying, too.

I mean, it's the same game as ASE. Better graphics; worse performance. Better AI ; worse servers. Better immersion ; worse dupes. Ya dig?

disappointingly empty. unfinished. far too easy. none of the survival aspects are fleshed out or even matter. you can beat the game without eating or drinking once. weather is lame. fights are hard because you get one shot - until five minutes in when you eat some meds and equip creep armor, after which everything is pitifully easy. Lore is fun to find, but minimal amounts of it. You can beat the game by going to 4 locations, it feels like the "story", which is the main point, never really develops or gets enticing. Final cutscene is kinda cool? but empty. Buy this game in 2 years, when there are more than seven enemies.

Wake up on a beach...
24 in game hours later... You have a trike, parasaur, three dodos and a wooden shack.
5 minutes later... Wake up on a beach again.
Ark is an absolutely amazing game, complete with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ alpha tribes and chinese hackers. Come play ark, and spend several hundred hours to eventually have nothing- at all- to show for it!
Best game ever! :D
