This game is thoroughly spooky, the first half plays with tension masterfully and I ended up playing by pausing the game every 10 seconds.
The second half, the story takes center stage.
You like both of these things? yes? Then I 100% recommend this game!

TL:DR: If you like MMOs and you haven't played Pokemon since X&Y, this game is for you. If you don't like it, grab Sword or Shield on the Switch.

This game is not Pokemon. And not for the reasons you think.
If you haven't played Pokemon in a while, you may enjoy it.
Let me explain this game like Pizza.

Nintendo release a Pizza. You've never eaten pizza before, but you try this Nintendo Margarita, and the cheeses and spices are amazing!
Every year or so, Nintendo Pizzeria decide to add a new pizza to the menu, this pizza has a new topping just added to the delicious pizza from before.
As the years go on, you grow accustomed to the base margarita pizza, and sometimes think the extra toppings are too much, but carry on all the same.

This game is like they took Nintendo's most recent pizza, copied it, changed the name, added a new topping, but didn't get the cheese and spices right.

What I am saying, is the game seems to lack substance. The story is lacking, the battles and mechanics don't feel satisfying.
Sometimes it feels like you're hitting your head against a brick wall just to break it down.
Learning the game's "new types" seem difficult to wrap your head around in the beginning.
And at the point of the game i'm at, I have no real reason to progress except to level up my TemTem.
And the only reason to catch them is to get the cheat sheet on that temtem in battle.

Do you hate rats? Do you love swinging weapons in directions to satisfying explosions of blood, ragdolls and viscera? Do you like your high end rig to chug? Then go for it!

The combat is satisfying and great, but like every "Warhammer" game, it always seems to suffer from performance issues.

A great (7/10) 4 co-op rat exploder

Anything simulator, just mod it. Don't add too many mods though.
