This game is cute and a novel idea for fun and engaging gameplay. I enjoyed it at first, but since some update to Windows or the game in the last 2-4 years, I cannot see my cursor in the game so it is unplayable :(

Early Access Review
I played this game back when it was on browser free to play, and it has come a long way; from being awesome cute fun to being awesome cute fun with depth and breadth. The multiplayer functionality is interesting and the customization of the game play available allows for you to make an experience that you find most enjoyable, though it does take some experimenting to understand what the various settings all do.

Of course, as with any challenging game, it can be frustrating at times. However, with the tutorial they've added alongside the help menu, there is much less frustration due to not being able to guess the ingredients for necessary craftables for survival and repeatedly dying from the same thing due to it. I realize people would argue that this takes some fun OUT of it, but those people can turn off the tutorial and not use the help menu.

Overall, lots to explore, lots to craft, and lots of replayability value. Wayward's customizable gameplay settings allows for modifying difficulty so that you can simply learn from your numerous deaths, start out slow and turn up the heat as you learn, or create a safe haven to sandbox build yourself a farm or something.
