Simply put, I can no longer recommend this game due to continuous subpar DLC releases and the studio's use of "AI" assets.

A delightful 10-hour cozy romp through the well-realised planet of Cigalo, as Sauge, returning home after 6 years abroad.

You'll then spend those 10 hours driving through the abandoned ruins of the Consortium, helping people, robots, and sentient frogs (Reinetos), traversing through relics of the past, unlocking the mysteries of the world.

My only gripe is I wish there was more! I hope to return to Cigalo and Sauge some day.

A charmingly cozy RPG that will delight with hours of content, offers a large variety of customisation, and is chock full of interesting characters to complete your magic-casting, sword-slashing vacation in Austria.

While not without faults, the game handles incredibly well, is a visual feast, and is sure to be a memorable experience.

I do look forward to some much-needed quality-of-life improvements down the road, but it's absolutely worth the full asking price as is.

By far one of the best games I have ever played. A breath of fresh air in the city builder genre, with a unique blend of roguelite mechanics that ensure no two runs are exactly a like.

Update 04.12.2024:
The devs continue to prove their dedication to supporting and expanding this game with the excellent new DLC and a strong commitment to fixing bugs and addressing feedback. If I could recommend the game twice, I would.

Hands down one of the best isometric tactical RPG's I've ever played. A deep skills system, strategic perk choices, tons of replay-ability, a variety of build options, interesting loot, and well-written dialogue truly make this game stand out.

Absolutely wonderful game. While not "officially" certified, works flawlessly on the Steam Deck.

I want to love this game, I do. I bought it when it was released, but despite my higher-end system, struggled with performance. I experienced the game-ruining glitch of wild animals turning into cheetahs with wings the second you touched them with a single point of damage, flying across the map and away from you. I never built more than a few houses, and got very confused by the systems to manage your little growing village. Took Googling to figure out how to do some things, and the menu felt full of excessive clicking.

Maybe I haven't given the game enough time - 5.7 hours on record at the time of this review. And for friends with great systems that love games like this, I'm sure to recommend it. But I cannot imagine trying to run this game on anything without a high-end dedicated graphics card, and even then - the performance doesn't match the experience.

Maybe this game will age like cheese and wine, and I look forward to coming back again in the future to see how it's grown, but it's still quite a few menu tweaks and system optimizations away from feeling playable, and not clunky.

The game has thrived from content updates and patches, and six months after release has become what it should have been. Highly replayable, incredibly engaging, and rich in problem solving. Very highly recommended.

One of the most engaging, fun, challenging, and loveable games I've ever played. Plus a great mod community!
