Very fun and unique game! We need a FTP multiplayer release to revive the PvP player base!

Strong start with a solid tutorialization to game play and solid game feel. After a few tutorial missions go kill some bandits. Avoiding anomalies is easy they give off clear indication when they occur. An eruption is happening! Quick get to shelter! You know what, don't bother! Most structures in the game won't protect you from this global ♥♥♥♥ you of a anomaly. I fail to understand how the design could take such hard left turn after starting so strong. Exactly zero people want to sit around in a shelter for a few minutes unsure if the game will decide to kill them anyway. I'm going to pass.

Very fun and well designed. Some robots are much stronger than others to play. This game will scratch your mobility shooter/rogue-like itch for sure!

Full of cheaters and scummy monetization. Solid base game but is essentially unplayable.

I would highly recommend picking this one up on sale! Lots of fun and a good with laugh with some friends. Also UPDATES!

I personally did not enjoy prey. Here is why. The moment I bought the game I played it for an hour and had better things to do so i set it down. Then about a month later I came back to it asking my self "wtf where this this game come from?" I pick the game back up to start playing again from the begining and I ran into the same issue. Prey is un godly boring! Heres a few reasons why!

I could care less about the story. Why should I? I have no investment in my character who who clearly has a face and prewritten back ground yet he/she behaves like a silent protagonist?!?!

The game is marketed as a Action game but then pulls a 180 with the antagonist behaving like a spooky monster. Is the monster supposed make me feel scared? Is it supposed to make me feel empowered because i can beet it up with a wrench? I honestly do not know because I was never frightened by the mimics yet beating them with a wrench or shooting them never felt good either.
Do not get me started on the combat in this game! All I have seen out of it in my short time playing are a total of 3 enemy types all of which have untelegraphed attacks and have two modes of movement sit around to get shot and move faster than bullets.
Prey is a game that tries to be like the ingenuitive games of our past with out ever having any sort of direction.
