Thank you for responding to me regarding how to get my SimCity4 game I had been playing from my old computer. I am not computer literate. I see those files on my computer (new one) in my file manager but, apparently, they are not where they are supposed to be in the game. I only see options to start a new game. Sorry to be such a bother, but where (in my file manager) should those files be?

It is true that my profile was indeed friends only at the time you blocked me, it does make me somewhat hypocritical for calling you out for blocking me I admit. I personally was not aware my profile was friends only and corrected it as soon as someone pointed it out, it's super surprising no one pointed it out sooner.

Sure, there were other factors that may have been unaccounted for such as profile posts since they don't show in post history, but you didn't meantion that at the time or after until today.

You could be right about the 200 post per day thing, sure. I personally also tested it ages ago and found it to be just 100 per day, it might have changed numerous times over the years. Another guy said it was 650 per 2 days, though that doesn't sound believable to me.

Had you explained in your first or second post how profile posts don't show in post history, things would've gone different.

profile comments add to that limit but don't show up in your previous posts rich. As I told you before, we are used to getting half truths from people all the time so there is no way anyone could know whether or not you were being 100% honest.

Shown in that screenshot is how I only made one post on the day it happened, two posts on the 6th and the 4th most recent at the time being on the 5th, there's no way I reached the post limit.

Also, Steam does show in local time, I can prove it. So the gap between the two posts on the 6th and the post on the 8th (for me) WAS over 2 days, still over 24 hours if it wasn't in local time.

My friend, we were later after that day to find out there was a posting limit bug and others had it too. How do you possibly expect me to know it was a bug that was the cause THAT day ? Aside from the bug issue, I KNOW I am correct and I told you in your thread I have tested this out before. I refreshed on post 200 at 23 hours. When the time advanced to 24 hours, I immediately could post agian. Normally, if there is not a bug, it is 200 posts per rolling 24 hours.

I did have an issue with the disk version, my PC wouldn't launch the EXE and someone else informed me that it was due to a patch Windows made back in 2015. Also it seemed unstable if I didn't save regularly, I've had no such issues with the Steam version I've been using since.

Um, still seems a bit weird you help out on his profile, but okay. I use to be one of the biggest helpers on the Steam forum for one of the games I played, so I guess it's understandable, as I feel simularly about another guy who was highly respected on that forum.

As for me verse The Giving One, it was indeed just a glitch, someone even pointed that out after noticing I had been making posts since. Of course, I insist this would've been obvious if you both just looked at that screenshot carefully, and therefore would like you to prove The Giving One would freely admit he was wrong after getting him to do so. I mean, he's still welcome to try and prove he was right all along, but he hasn't been able to do so sofar as far as I'm concerned.

I do know that he's hit that posting limit many, MANY times so I would certainly defer to him on most of those issues. Of course, it IS Tuesday (maintenance day for Steam) so it's certainly possible that you were just experiencing a bug that corrected itself.

We both help out on the forums. I see him help people everyday...even has the patience to extract information from people who go out of their way to be difficult...the same ones that many of us simply link a support article and give up on because it's just not worth our time to help someone who won't help themselves.

He has a LOT of earned respect on the forums. If you are right (I seriously couldn't be bothered to go back over the whole thing) and he was wrong, he would have freely admitted it if you hadn't gotten so hostile so fast. I've seen him do it before. I was honestly suprised by the whole thing as he's the most humble, helpful guy there and yet he caught the heat.

It resets your profile, you can't post...anywhere, you can't join/leave groups, you can't edit your profile, you get the nice red text permanently on your profile saying you're community banned and can potentially even lose the ability to add keys, buy games, use the market/trade.

It pretty well kills your account.
