Quite fun country management sim where you can try on yourself a role of a leader in most developed countries of the world.
Struggle with budget balancing and implementing your own views when at the same time trying to keep people loyal to elect you once again.

Fair to note though game has some problems and questionable design decisions.

I didn't like how socialist economy works in a game (when the state owns a lot of sectors like education, energy industry, etc.).
There is no way to make a profit there especially on harder difficulties and game clearly favors capitalistic economy with private ownership because then you still get almost the same thing but without too much spending.

Some things are broken like migration which if out of control can convert even your native population into ethnic minorities (seems like a serious overlook to me).
Unemployment is almost impossible to solve if you are going industrial automation route (which is encouraged if you want to up your GDP).
Also I feel like it is too easy to promote membership (number of people identifying yourself as) of certain group, like for example you can up your capitalist % of population straight to 90% which is ridiculous.

Still I feel like game price is justified for a value and hope for continuous support.

A lot of different classes with their own playstyle, intriguing story and nicely paced progression.
Even if you're not a fan of deckbuilders I still recommend you to try it.

True Colors feels like a good addition to the LiS series at first but unfortunately the more you play - the more you feel like there are just right choices and wrong choices. I don't remember this being that bad in first 2 LiS games. It's getting so bad at times that ratio on some of them reach 96% against 4% (% of people picking one of the option).
Because of how obvious some options against others it fail to immerse you fully, create tension, make you think - "am I actually right about it?"
It also extends to important characters (i.e. romanceable one) - some of them so much more interesting, fun to hang out with that it's like you are forced to choose the "right one" again.

And it's a real damn shame because main character story is intriguing and they introduced her really well. Her usual tools we use to - journal, sms, blogs - everything is done so well.
Her new mechanic is amazing and could create a real tension if it wouldn't became too one sided far too quickly.

To summarize: this game brings a feel of old LiS but fail to utilize it's own strengths and even fail at some aspects first two LiS games were well known for.
I'm not sure I can recommend it at full price given downsides I mentioned, but it's worth getting at more than 35% off just for story and world exploration.
Also I still feel if feedback would be constructive enough they will figure it out in future and we will get another amazing narrative game from them.

This game is an attempt to bring some RPG into reading experience. Unsuccessful one imao

Story is great but RPG part relies too much on stats optimization so I would say if spending a lot of time on it or reading guides is annoying to you better to avoid it.

But if you don't really care about perfect endings you still can find much enjoyment.

Rare occasion of Fantasy VN not involving romance on Steam.

Good writing with twists and turns, characters actions that make sense, actual adventure and places nicely described and visualized. Surprisingly well developed lore and encyclopedia to read about how things work in the world.

This chapter (milestone two side:above) was amazing.
It did everything great - characters have to go through conditions they acquired from the first milestone, they have to solve problems once they arrive like where to sleep and buy something, they actually figure out things about the place they arrive in like language and different customs.
And writer succeeded in both setting up sequel as well as summing up subplot.

The only downside I see for some people is that it doesn't have choices. So if you are looking for this type of experience - this is not for you.

Criminally overlooked VN with a good story, amazing style and unlike most other VN quite a lot of choices or just dialogue lines.
Can be confusing a lot of times though if you are not that much into 90s because there is A LOT of references but nothing game breaking I still involved into story.

Looking at number of reviews I seriously concerned about devs and really hope we will see another story from them.

Much better than anime.
Suzuha actually have something to do. Everything is explained to you better and you feel much more cause how well character thoughts are written.

I only did Kurisu route for now though.
And partially some other route. And I must say difference is astonishing already.

Definitely recommend for all readers out here.

Visually stunning run and gun shooter with some elements of RPG - this is how you can describe this game.

When done well (especially for an indie studio) it suffers from some serious flaws.
For example, if you play in coop with your buddies you will quickly realize that poster for a game is a lie - you won't look differently. In fact, because items are shared between characters when you find any you will just pick most high lvl one so you basically will wear same shirt for most of the game.
Second because it's an open world you will often encounter a situation when you will suddenly run into much higher lvl enemies when being lost on big map.
Third many aspects of the game are unclear without looking into some wiki or playthrough (they are not explained well).
You will wonder what are those resistance images stand for because you can't point your coursor on them or what different stats mean on right side of the screen or how you increase them.
And btw yea, some skills are legit useless and most people will avoid them and instead go into easy to understand and use one like reload speed and crits.

In the end I feel like devs completely neglected everything beside visuals and general Blade Runner feel. If you are looking to enjoy landscape and want some cyberpunk - it might be good for you.
But if you are looking for a somehow complex game without too many simplifications and want to customize your character - this is not for you.

Unfortunately this is not recommended imo. But I do wish devs best luck in their future endeavours and hope they will make more complex game focused on gameplay and customization more next time. Even if I could I wouldn't return it.

Nova-box delivering another great mystery VN with a lot of improvements from Along the Edge this time focused on music theme with encyclopedia for people who are not really that deep in music industry.
As always - a lot of gorgeous art, choices, great cast of characters and writing quality.

Must have for VN enthusiasts.

Short story but with many choices, great melodic music you would expect from fairy tale, cast of characters each with their own story to tell.
And of course their unique art style which you won't find anywhere else. Probably the most eye pleasing for VNs out there on Steam.

I still would recommend to play through their modern times mystery titles first though like Along the Edge or Across the Grooves.
