I was disillusioned with the state of gaming. With the current standard of the big games market, I came to a cruel realization. Games are no longer an avenue for passion. Like all major industries, what was once a powerful niche turned into a game of investments. Where everything on the shelves needs to be shipped yesterday. Slop for the foul pigs of the hobby to gulp down with avarice. It filled me with an endless, malignant slime of exhaustion. I couldn't even tell if I was alive, because to be alive would imply I was living. It was more like existing, if anything. Could anything save my soul? Save me from myself?
Then I found Don't Pee.

Don't Pee gave me something absent from the better part of my hollow existence. It gave me hope. Hope for the future of this beautiful medium. Never had I been gripped by such intense horror. Not once did I consider that games, as a storytelling medium, has potential still untouched. I'm not sure if game is even the best descriptor for a title such as Don't Pee. While accurate, I feel like referring to it as a "game" undersells what it accomplishes. Don't Pee is better described as a landmark. It's not often that a Steam release does what Don't Pee does to raise the bar. A game, no, an event such as Don't Pee is a once in a decade experience that can't be forced. One that is purely the result of the right man finding his own voice, with limited tools to express that voice. $2 is a deceptively small price tag for a one of a kind purchase that will make you reconsider everything. ♥♥♥♥ Super Mario 64, ♥♥♥♥ Deus Ex, ♥♥♥♥ DOOM Eternal, ♥♥♥♥ Spiderman, Don't Pee towers over everything else in triumph and pride. If you pass by Don't Pee, you are depriving yourself of something you never knew you wanted. This is a journey worth every cent in your wallet.
