if you manage to find it with a good discount, grab it absolutely. can't say much gameplay-wise regarding multiplayer cause i only play zombies, but paired together with WaW, BO2 and BO3 it's literally peak zombies.

Even if a bit late, i'm jumping on the bandwagon of negative reviews warning whoever reads this to STAY AWAY from this sh*t that's been called a game and NEVER purchase it. Not only cause is literal dog sh*t in terms of gameplay or because it's made by one of the worst game company ever, but also because EA SHUT DOWN THE SERVERS LONG AGO, MAKING THIS (being an always-online game, even the singleplayer offline parts) UTTER NON-SENSE COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE.

PLS I BEG YOU, DO NOT BUY THIS EVEN IF FORCED, AND STOP GIVING EA MONEY.

EA, YOU'LL BE CURSED AND DAMNED FOREVER FOR NOT LETTING AMERICAN MCGEE MAKE ALICE ASYLUM. I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF A SAGA. EA, MAY YOU ROT IN HELL FOR ETERNITY.

As of now, if you want to buy this game expecting a better version of DotE (Dungeon of the Endless) you'll be quite disappointed cause it shares only the core game mechanics, all the rest is somewhat "simplified".

If you want to buy this game just to enjoy another good enough roguelite, you won't be disappointed.

Leaving a positive review only cause i want to give this game a chance to redeem itself from all the things they got rid of from DotE (which made that game sooo good), since it has just been released.
Hope devs listen to their community, let's see how this goes.

one of the most wholesome chilling n relaxing (NOT THE MINES THO) game out there. everyone should play it at least once (with mods otherwise some game mechanics can be slow and tedious)

Generally well done for an indie game, but it feels somehow incomplete and poorly optimized: game bugs and crashes the more you get close to the end; whole story took me less than 8 hours to complete (took my sweet time to explore nearly every inch of every map); all levels other than one are nearly flat and involve few easy explorations to actually find all skulls (missed only 3 among last 2 levels during first run).
Weapon variety is wide and fun to try and create different combos, but enemies have the simplest AI possible: they all constantly only run toward you spam attacking, and you can stun them one at a time only with a specific cooldown ability.
Also, no i-frames other than mid-roll, forcing you to keep rolling or jump attacking enemies to avoid constant damage in crowded areas.
Still worth playing but only with a good discount.
