Was an early backer for this and never recieved anything but an unfinished engine Demo, actually demos have more functional content then this.
There's no updates, nor refunding that was offered by the developers so I guess all they can do is scamming of people's hard earned money, since they don't work, they wouldn't know what that is though.

Keep yourself far away from this.

A review that was long overdue...
I had this game pre-ordered, back in the day and now that it is on Sale I feel obligated to give some thoughts on this.

Homefront: The Revolution felt way better then it's former self so the game definitely had my attention for the first 20 Minutes. After that I got bored, insulted and cried out in anger, remembering that I've spent 60 bucks on it.

Here's why;

The game lacks of variety. Nothing new, really. The mechanics play well but they don't do something special in terms of abilities. The story itself was not enough to be remembered after roughly 3 years. What I do remember though is the pure annoyance of characters that should "support" you in any form.

The good parts I remember about this game are the visuals and the audio. Guns and explosions are well done.

All in all this game was underwhelming and had not much to remember after 3 years. I'd take it for 3.99€.

Minimalistic looking game that just takes some time of yours and lets you sink in.
I like "eastalgic" and you definetly will get this when driving in your Trabant. :)

Spiele 5 Stunden absolut repetative Story, in der du von deinem Sergeant angebrüllt wirst.
Stealth Mission sind keine Stealth Missionen, absolut lineares Gameplay und schlechte Effekte.

I payed 1.99€ for this little platformer and it was worth it!
It's a little game that you can sink in and enjoy if you like the music in the background.
You also have to control the game with the help of the music, so specific movements can be only done on a specific beat.
The artstyle is, as described, minimalistic and colourful!

The game is definetly a little eyecatcher and made fun for a time.
