While the game certainly offers beautiful visuals, I have to say I was not able to follow the story at all. The exploration of the island felt clunky, especially at the beginning, where it felt as though I were mostly being railroaded through what was nothing more than an excuse to show pretty scenery while telling the story of... something or someone I felt no connection to, other than that I was exploring the island that they kept referencing. Early on, I came across some drawings on the wall of a building in glowing paint and had hopes that there might be some puzzle elements to the game, but they never seemed to come to fruition, and other than coming across pieces of the story as I explored, there was nothing I could interact with. I couldn't even run or jump to make exploring my surroundings easier or more enjoyable.

In summary, it was a very mediocre hour's worth of slowly walking through slightly mysterious scenery and melancholic snippets of story, and not one that I'm eager to repeat for the sake of completing the achievements. If I hadn't gotten the game for free, I'd likely be requesting a refund.

Very fun and addicting game. Loads of quests to complete, with multiple ways to complete many of them.

Early Access Review
Highly addictive, immersive gameplay with a great soundtrack and based in Norse mythology. What's not to love? Plus, it's still in development, so there's more great content coming down the road.
The only thing I might critique is that I seem to get a lag spike every time the game autosaves. It's normally not a big deal, but when you're in the middle of a tense fight against a horde of graydwarves, it can get a bit hairy.

Highly addictive and a great time-wasting game. XD
Loads of upgrades to make collecting leaves faster and faster, but still challenging to max everything out.
16 hours in and I still haven't unlocked everything, but I can feel it getting closer... just one more reset... or maybe the one after that... maybe I'll just play another hour or two...
But hey! When I finally do stop... I still earn more leaves while I'm not playing!

This is a fun game that's a great way to kill a few minutes or hours with. In the beginning, you receive a series of emails requesting work on different clients' homes that slowly unlock and teach you how to use different skills. I love the imaginative stories the emails tell. However, once you complete the odd job requests (which I wish there were more of), it can be easy to miss the fact that you can purchase and completely renovate and sell homes.

In the recently added "Kindergarten" job, there is a room that requires a curtain to be added, which, when you place it, the curtain rod gets placed inside the wall, preventing you from being able to fully install it. Also, all the office clutter (dirty file boxes, pens, mugs, etc) cannot be cleared away and seem out of place in the newly refurbished rooms.

As several other reviewers have mentioned, once you start renovating houses, it can get rather repetetive, as the furniture, tiling, and even house layout options are very limited. Some houses, upon purchasing them, contain furniture models that are not available in the catalog, but would be welcome additions to it.

Existing outlets and light switches cannot be changed (most start off as ugly brown) unless they are in need of repair or if you demolish the wall they are attached to, and there is no way to add new outlets. Other "installations" are the same. Radiators can only be placed in specific spots, often limiting how furniture can be placed in the rooms, and if you want to add a new bathroom, you can't, because there is no way to add places to install plumbing features.

In my experience, most of the paint colors are much brighter and more saturated than they appear in the catalog, and there are very few options for lighter colors. It is possible to mix colors by partially painting over them, but this can be difficult to control, especially after upgrading your painting skill to be faster.

Again, as other reviewers mentioned, the options for modifying the exterior of the houses are severely limited. All the lawns are very overgrown (even in the lived-in homes.) There are no options for landscaping, very few options for siding, and currently there is no way to expand a house by building on an extra room.

The game would greatly benefit from being opened up for Steam Workshop content, so that new options could be added in, making for greater creative choices.

The game feels like it has the potential to become something special, but at this point it feels unfinished. Still, it's a good game, and I do recommend trying it out.

This is a fun, cute little game that can easily be beaten in 20-30 minutes or so.

That said, there is game footage in the trailer video for levels that I was never able to access. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or simply that the levels were never included in this version of the game.

While I've seen many other reviewers complaining about game crashes, I only experienced this after completing(?) the game once and attempting to Login again. After restarting the game, I did a second playthrough because I felt that I had missed something somewhere, but was unable to discover anything new.

This is a super-challenging game of solitaire... the game mechanics reward thinking ahead and card counting, and the expansions open up new possibilities that make the game even more fun and challenging.

Definitely a great game, especially considering the fact that it's free to play, and the expansions are dirt cheap!

While the game itself is good, it should be noted that this is NOT the complete game. It has been edited for Steam, with all nudity being removed.
