I'm a die-hard stardew valley fan to the point that other farm-sim games tend to put me off, but Luma Island I can confidently say does not fall into this loop. The art style and world is so refreshing. I love the concept of skills being leveled up like professions. All of the mechanics feel reworked in such a way that they all feel unique. The game is very easy to conceptually pick up on how the mechanics work but has loads of deeper dive type information tidbits that feel rewarding to discover.

10/10 HIGHLY recommend. Will play again and will be my current hyperfixation.
