Even years after playing this game I still occasionally think about it. It's story is fantastic, voice acting is amazing and the visuals are still top notch. Only down-side I can think of is that it's a spooky horror game with creepy monsters walking around that chase you if they see you but there's a mod that makes them not do that.

If you're a fan of the first 2 games you'll probably like this one as well. It's more Dark Soulsy but so what, it works as well.

If you're into 3rd person RPG games this is probably for you. It looks good but the budget nature shines through in some aspects.
There's a lot of repetition in dialogue.
There's not a lot of dialogue options.
Combat is easy and repetitive, it might be challenging the first few hours but you'll quickly over-class the enemies, even on the hard difficulty. Guns are OP.
Quests consists often of "Go here and converse, then maybe fight" with the previous mentioned issues. Sure I guess all quests are like that but here it often doesn't matter to the world or larger story what happened in the quest. At best you gained some reputation with a certain group.
Ingame cutscenes are awkwardly edited, cutting at odd times.
The native's accents are really weird, it sounds really fake to me but because of it it has its charm.

Even tho of these shortcomings I do enjoy the game. The main story is different from the usual fantasy RPG games. No "Evil returned and we must fight the demons to turn the tide."
In a perfect world where in-depth 3rd person RPGs are selling like hotcakes and are numerous this game would do badly but there just aren't a lot of games like this so we gotta be happy with what we have. It's better than Dragon age 2 and 3 as far as I'm concerned. Dragon age 2 was empty and boring and 3 was just a bunch of busy work "Find x amount of Y".

It's a nice jam of a game although quite expensive for what it offers, if you've seen 5 minutes of the game you've pretty much seen it all.

I haven't tried multiplayer nor do I plan to. If you don't care about it having redguard or Denuvo go ahead and buy this. I have a great time playing it and there's a lot of replayability with the multiverse mode. Your fighters level up and you earn clothing for them so there's a reason to keep on playing.

This game is often compared to Flatout but beware, this is sooo much not a Flatout game. If you liked Flatout 2 and Ultimate Carnage for the speed, destruction and chaos and you think you'll have the same kind of fun in this game, you won't.

This game has only junkers that drive rather slow, also no nitro. The driving model is also a tad more realstic so now you actually have to break in corners, you can't go "flatout" during most of the race and use opponents as impact cushions in corners either because it'll screw you up as well.

The tracks are short, with each race you get optional objectives such as: Spin out 3 opponents, Crash out at least 3 opponents, Finish first. If your optional objectives are anything not about finishing first you'll have a hard time completing them as the tracks are short so you either have to focus on driving really well or crashing. Besides that, crash once and you forget about finishing first.

This is no Flatout, this is Wreckfest. It's a bit like Flatout but a whole lot less fun.

Poor old friendly USA is attacked for being too awesome so helpess and pure USA asks Sam Fisher to stop those super bad guys from ruining this great nation, armed with a high tech plane full of the latest flashy gadgets and a team of stereotypes Sam Fisher has to put an end to super bad guys.

The story feels like it was written by a 12 year old american boy. This kind of story might have worked in the 90s but honestly it's such a tiring, narcissistic circlejerk it makes me lose interest in the entire game. I also don't care much in the coop integration during the campaign, the missions are optional but you either have a friend to play with or you're boned as there's little chance someone in your area is playing this 5 year old game. Let campaigns stay sineplayer!

The entire feel of the technology used in the game is a typical blue or green cyber style.
The game itself is good but nothing refreshing, your typical stealth action game where you jump from cover to cover and use your gadgets to kill poorly trained enemies because apparently no one can top the quality of the US army, especially not the militia in generic dessert country with generic enemies in garbs wielding AKs.

If you are an American loving fanboy that can't get enough from media portraying the army as a god-loving, patriotic, elite super-force then go right ahead, this game is for you. You might even like this game if you just want some generic stealth/action.

If you're tired of all of this, stay away.

I like it, it's a great way to stream your pc to the TV if you want to play games with some friends, some games just play better with controllers on a TV. I don't know why so many people complain about it unless they stubbornly use wifi which I heard isn't good at all.

> play game only on hardcore, one life and that's it
> play for 20 hours, every hour it gets more tense, don't want to lose all this progress
> Have a deep sea base with a lot of resources, seamoth and cyclops
> living the good life.jpg
> maiden voyage of cyclops, discover a big piece of the spaceship
> explore it like I've done so many times before
> have to crawl through a vent, end up in a messroom that's at a 45degree angle
> start exploring, come across a fish that takes over your brain to get you closer.
> loot a chest, decide this room isn't safe with that weird fish swimming about
> forget where I got inside
> slight panic.jpg
> no problem, still got a fair amount of air, keep looking for the vent
> fish starts moving around
> +5 panic
> can't find vent
> full on panic
> disorientated
> heart is racing
> not like this
> NOT LIKE THIS
> frantically swim around the room
> heart almost jumps out of my chest
> WHERE IS THE VENT
> die

When you die in the game you die irl.

Early Access Review
I must say for a one-man team this game is pretty good. It's light in content but what's there is promising, just learning on how to control your ship will take you a couple of days. Yes there are tutorials that explain to you what to do to get it working but to really understand what's what you need to learn it yourself. The batteries will explode, fuel cells will be depleted, everything will turn off and you'll be sitting there in a dark ship floating in space wondering what went wrong only to try again and begin with the star-up procedure. Once you really figure out on how to do all that you need to learn about orbital mechanics and automatic pilot settings.
Imagine Kerbal Space Program without the map that shows your orbit, you only get numbers and icons. Once you mange to go to a moon or planet you have to learn to rendez-vous, after that you have to learn to dock. I haven't even reached those parts yet.
For people with a love for realism and sci-fi.
