Favorite game I played in 2014. Picked it up on a whim during a sale and now wonder how I could have come so close to passing it by. A stealth game (or action game, your choice ....), maybe not the hardest game, but it makes up for it with a boatload of style--cool worldbuilding, an engrossing story, and fun gameplay. Highly recommend, especially if you like anything with elements of "urban decay" or environment exploration.

Note of caution, however, if 1st person has a tendancy to make you motion sick: this game is 1st-person ONLY. I know of no mods that can make it into 3rd person view, either. Some of the core game movements tend to sway or jostle the camera (leaning out and climbing, respectively), but it is possible to completely eliminate head bob during walking/running, as well as increase the FOV up to 110 in the settings.

Simple yet difficult. An unusual gameplay experience with multiple endings and challenges of choice that will leave you thinking.

Crazy action, kooky characters and goofy cartoony appeal. Get bored with fighting one way? Eight other ways to try, not to mention all the various game modes and weapon choices.
