Quality game, but the new DRM they've added sucks ass. Need to log in with your password every single time you play unless you set it to offline mode.

Recommend finding ways to play DRM free until they fix this. Warning too, it's stupidly hard to transfer your save from Ubisoft to DRM free versions because they encrypt your saves to your Ubisoft account. So don't start any save if you want to remove the DRM on this Steam version.

The best MMO on the market if you prioritize world building, writing, music, and hype AF payoffs from your games. Shadowbringers and Heavensward in particular are top tier JRPG stories.

It may be overly slow at points (unfortunately one of those points are the first 20-40 hours), and core progression is a linear (mostly solo) straight line until the story is done (200-400 hrs). However, those issues don't offset the game when it's firing on all cylinders.

I listened to all the praises this game got, and it totally delivered. My favourite overall experience to come out of the PS4 generation.

Latest update seems to have fixed crashing issues on Windows.

This is probably the single best visualizer out there. It's incredible.

The new player experience is sketch as hell, but the amount of content you get for free is absolutely ridiculous. With minimal microtransactions too.

If you're new either start with the Red War -> Curse of Osiris -> Warmind campaigns or start doing bounties and quests for the NPCs around the game. The story is a good start if you want to ease into the game and get some simple exotic gear, whereas going generic questing will get you into the meat and potatoes gameplay loop right away. The game is very undirected in this current patch, which can be either great or horrible depending on how you like your games. Looking up stuff online will happen, but I found compared to a game like Warframe or WoW I don't need to do it anywhere near as much. The lack of tutorialization will probably lead to lots of looking things up at first though, just as a heads up.

PvP is alright, but Gambit is pretty great. If you're looking for a change of pace from just grinding PvE you should really try the PvEvP Gambit mode. It's probably the best very modified take I've played on League/Dota.

Highly recommended if you want a great PvE loot shooter with satisfying gun play that just gets you into a flow. It's definitely obtuse at times, but look things up, play with friends, and you'll be playing for tens to hundreds of hours without spending a dime.

Entertaining as heck! It's quite short, but thankfully it doesn't outstay it's welcome.

If you're looking for a game that's well written and has a lot of charm I would totally recommend it. If you're looking for a game with a strong mechanical hook on top of that, like Katamari, I would suggest looking elsewhere. For what it is I feel it's 100% worth your time, attention and money. Also note that it's on iOS (not Android :/), where it might be a bit better consumed than on a big monitor or TV.

Have a Garbage Day!

Well, it's another Arkham game, and based on my limited time I have to say it doesn't really hold up to the past games.

Performance wise it doesn't seem completely broken as it was on launch, but it doesn't really run particularly well either. For how the game looks it really shouldn't be pulling the frame drops it still occasionally has, it just does not feel anywhere near as smooth as the past games do.

General gameplay wise I feel the combat and general movement is a step down from Arkham City. The combat lacks punch in comparison and moving around just doesn't feel as good. Possibly the framerate has something to do with it, or maybe I've just outgrown the Arkham combat, but it's not something I can see myself enjoying over the many hours left in the game. Add to that the complaints people have about the Batmobile taking over way too much of the game and, I think it's fairly safe to say that it doesn't get significantly better later on.

The story so far has not left any real hooks in me yet like the last games. The mystery I really just don't care about. I don't care who the Arkham Knight is and I don't care what plan Scarecrow has. The only real thread the game has past that is side quests, but the game doesn't feel satisfying enough to play for me to be tempted to do them.

I dunno, maybe I'm just missing something but this installment really hasn't got be interested at all. I would recommend people replay Arkham City instead, almost every time I start that game I'm in the mood to play through the whole thing again. This one just hasn't at all.

Right now this game feels like it lacks direction.

I went hard into this game a few years ago but I just don't feel they've been "improving" the right things for a while now. Update after update seems focused on adding content for the sake of it with zero concern for how it all feeds together. Mechanics are confined to small areas and progression you make in some places usually means nothing to the rest of the game.

The game still works if all you're concerned with is designing some cool looking space ninjas or want an enjoyable grind for a couple hundred hours. If you want anything more than that DE really hasn't nailed updates for at least 2-3 years now.

I'm still keeping my eye out for the patch that brings this game back, but for now I can't say I'm the biggest fan.

The first 3-4 hours I've played (2 offline and about 2 online) are... ok. Just kinda ok.

THE GOOD AND THE UGLY (No Order)

I'm not giving anything on the game's side quests because 3-4 hours really isn't enough for that. I'm keeping this focused only on the core gameplay.

1: The gunplay is better, guns have a definite punch and enemies are much more smart to dodge shots or try and group around you instead of just being stupid. It makes the combat nice, but the best moments in the combat are very much the best moments you get in the past games as well. Stuff like hitting that low crit chance, or having some ridiculous interactions happen thanks to some perk. Also, if I were to nitpick a bit, the gun sounds for some of the weapons lack the punch that others have. Probably will be fixed with a mod, but a small thing I've noticed.

2: The graphics have quite a bit to be desired from. Mostly from the texture department. It really surprises me that this game uses 3 gigs of VRAM on Ultra. The game barely looks like it's using 1 gig. Compared to a game like Borderlands 2, this game just does not hold up graphically or performance wise. This can always be fixed with mods though, and textures are usually one of the first things to be modded in.

3: The character creator is bloody excellent. I don't really have more to say, just I don't think I've ever seen one this well made and implemented. Easily the most fun I've had with the game so far was just tweaking around how my character looked.

4: Animations are fairly janky. This is really sad because all over the place you can see attempts that Bethesda has made to really up the production value for this one, but it's completely shot down once you look at a character's mouth or how their eyes are dead pan. You can see the attempt to bring this game forward a few notches, but either their animators or the crappy old engine just can't keep with the times anymore.

5: The game flows better. In general enemy AI is smarter and much more interesting. Like, RAGE levels of interesting. They have lots of diverse habits and ways of approaching you and it really makes them feel alive. On top of that the movement of your character is much better compared to last games and the gunplay just makes a nice feeling package.

6: Pretty poor introduction in my opinion. I was hoping for some really great stuff in the intro, or at least a really good change of events that would get me motivated. The game doesn't really provide that. Although the beginning is fairly dark, the character's aren't given enough time to be fleshed out so it's interesting. It's always easier to be invested if something happens directly to your main character. I don't think Bethesda understands this because this is their second Fallout game where you're looking for a family member gone missing that I personally don't care about.

7: The music and atmosphere are as great as ever. Inon Zur did a masterful, phenomenal job. The main theme gives me chills, and the environmental music is right up there with Jeremy Soule's Skyrim OST. If you were to skip this game entirely and just buy the soundtrack, I wouldn't be surprised.

8: The game is all over the place with it's framerate, I'll be perfect 60fps at one point but then I move to the left and it's down to 15-30fps. It's crazy. This should be the #1 priority to fix. Right now I plain and simple just don't want to play the game anymore because of the insane FPS fluctuation.

After tweaking around with the settings I've now been able to get the game running alright (60fps 90% of the time with rare drops to 40 in cities). For anyone else; lower God Rays to anything under Ultra, set Shadow Distance to the lowest, Lighting Quality only Medium or High, and Actor Fade to about a quarter. Changing these should really help boost performance, also the game looks pretty much identical no matter what you change.

Do I recommend this game for Fallout fans?

Well, if you've played every mod, you've explored every corner, and did everything that you ever wanted to do in the past games and still want more? Yeah go for it. The game isn't significantly worse than the last ones, just disappointing with how little it changes after Skyrim.

Is this a good first Fallout game?

Yeah I'd say so. The older Bethesda ones lack a serious amount of polish that can make them hard to get into. If you can get past that they're great, but in 2015 it can be a little hard, especially if you don't take the time to mod them. This one is polished enough that you'll probably enjoy it fine.

Do I recommend it at full price?

Well, can you deal with the issues it has and the usual Bethesda bugs? If yes, and you really can't wait, I guess I can't stop you. At the very least the game doesn't seem to have crashing issues. If I were you though I would just wait some more. Mods and patches are likely to get the game into a much more fun state and fix the rough edges the game currently has. There's a good if not great game hiding here, it's just that it needs some more work put in for it to come out.

I don't fully recommend it right now. Giving it a year for all the issues to be sorted out will give you a better overall game. If you're reading this though, then you've most likely bought it already.

PROS:
-It's free
-Game download size is incredibly small
-Really quick to start
-Runs on pretty much anything
-Technically an endless amount of things to do

CONS:
-Gameplay is fairly shallow, pretty much just killing doods and building things with upgrading in between
-Animations and impact leave much to be desired
-Sounds are pretty annoying, I would reccomend leaving a video or other music in background. Mute the game

If you knew this game was going to be good just from watching one trailer or screenshot this game is for you. For others I would try it out if you want, the game will download in like 10 seconds - 10 minutes, depends how fast your internet is. Don't expect much or really anything at all and you might find a fun game to have in the background of a skype call.
