Great game, kinda buggy, but very fun. 10\10.

I played the original Prey on Xbox 360, and I thought going into this that it would be a prequel or sequel to that game, but no, this is a being of it's own, I like new game plus, I am currently expirmenting with that, I like playing my way, gonna try to do all side quests and find everyone, only grievance really is the fact I have to force controller in my steam settings, and change it back everytime I hop on a game that doesn't require that.


Okay on to gameplay/bugs, I like the gameplay mechanics and I love using the guns, I know you are supposed to conserve ammo, but I spam it to kill everything lol, and I recycle everything I don't need, if you don't fully upgrade your guns, you are gonna have a hard time in late game, I had to restart cause of that, I think mimicking things is hilarious and I like the typhon powers a lot, I like to create my own phatoms, and have them fight for me, only problem is the electrical ones I create mess up the computers and stuff around me so I have to kill them.

The only problem I really had was the damn reactor, I had to lower my graphics to be able to get through, ugh 1 fps is killer....

Haven't tried Mooncrash, I will probably update my review once I have, but I loved the ad, and I loved watching Markimoo play it.

All in all, prepare for that one jumpscare, like holy toledo, I love this game and I hope there is a sequel, I'd buy it.

Religious aspects aside, this was amazing! the graphics were so realistic and I literally felt on edge from the second I got in, I loved the first one and of course I would be playing the second (if I could run it of course) it's really well optimized and I only ran into a few glitches, but what do you expect from a brand new game?

Gameplay is a lot like the first, except your battery runs out a lot faster, you have a new microphone aspect where you can listen for enemies and anything else, I didn't really use mine too much because it killed my batteries too quickly, no I am not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this is just how I played.


Only grieveance I really had was the fact that you are chased a bit too much and I really got fed up with the guy in the school and the root guys.

I got lost a lot of the times, dying at the stupidest things, like falling to my death after turning off the power to those wires, but it is a Trial and Error game, was really short as well, hoping for a DLC like Whistleblower. *fingers crossed*

I loved the scares, honestly, they got me, just when you think it's safe, nope shadow or nope chase scene, I know a lot of people were having problems with the religion aspect and I guess I could see why, but in all honesty why would you play if your overly religious anyways?

I think that any horror fan will love this game and should give it a try. ^^

So the question you are left with is, what does it mean to truly exist? is existance a body? a personality? a soul? and what if that existance could continue on? even if you couldn't? what would you do to preserve it, everything that is great and beautiful about humanity and would you risk it all on a coin toss? this game is amazing, after the inital getting lost and confusion, plus the enemies are different each time you get to a new area, its really interesting and I couldn't stop playing till I finished, also I liked that you got the option of who to kill and who to leave behind, bravo.

This game is hard on new players, you are thrown in and you really have no idea what in the world you are doing, luckily there are high MR that will help, usually I like to take in a few and show em the ropes, and help them get thier Tenno and things, but in all honesty, it really can be hard on them, and if you ahve no one to help you, I can see why you would quit, I love this game honestly, we need new Raid's and better drop rates for rare arcane's, keep up the good work DE.

Okay first off if your a huge fan of the Alien series and a huge fan of horror games then you'll love this, going into it you can be goofy and mess around, make a lot of noise, every once and a awhile you'll hear a scripted bang or clang in the background, I do believe that's preparing you/jumpscares.

Once the xeno shows up, it changes, you have to be very quiet, and hide as much as you can, but it's not just the xeno that is after you, it's humans and andriods as well, if your a fan of the first Alien then you know that WayYu had created inferior andriods and they went nuts and tried to kill the crew, it's kind funny to be hiding and hear the driods say to the alien "Unidentifed life form, please identfy yourself, logging report with Apollo." Like the xeno would actually respond.

I like how the game gets smarter and forces you to change tactics to complete missions, only problem with that is the xeno kills you so much that you get frustrated, at one point there was three in the hive/nest, three! and I was freaking quiet!

I know I wasn't playing on the worlds best computer, or the highest graphics but I ran into every glitch there was to be had...Luckily I searched up every one and was able to find fixes, but I really feel like the devs should release a bug fix for these, cause in some cases people can't get any further and they keep resarting hoping it'll work, I dunno maybe I got lucky there because they actually worked.

I may write a guide on the bugs I encountered and how to fix them.

I loved how at first the game made me paranoid, like every sound, every time I would kick a can or something I would worry, oh did he hear it?

I think it was a bit too long and the chapters tended to drone on...especially with dying and not able to find my way anywhere, sometimes I would watch vids for help, most of the time I followed the map.

And whats with the facehuggers insta kills? like seriously no one could pull it off by spamming a button?

Trying not to post spoilers, all in all its great game, buggy as heck and needs fixes, but I really enjoyed it, I hope there is a sequel.

Do I recommend, yes if you can handle high anxiety and handle frustration and bugs.

I actually won this game, so going into it I was like mehhh, once I got past the long, very long load screens, may be my computer or may be the game, I dunno, but I was amazed by its stunning graphics, even on low, now I know theres not much to the game, I read a few reviews, but I like it, I hate games that add in stuff you don't need, or prolong a story that doesn't need prolonged, maybe come out with some DLC for it? to show us the whole story of why the world is like this?

I like the gameplay and it's awesome with a controller, thank you Dev's for full controller support, its kinda like Prince of Persia if you've ever played but with a female lead, I like that your caring for your little brother, but it does get repetative in finding the things for him, none the less I enjoy it and will finish it.

Well then.

The man in the beginning sounds like Bill Clinton.

So far this game is really really cool, the graphics and how the story unfolds is really well done, the jump scares actually do spook you, the controls take a bit of getting used to but overall I enjoyed this game and hope that more games like it come out in the future.
