Mnk controls don't feel so good, some weird input lag or clunky animations.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a great title from Don't Nod. In my opinion their best game ping pongs between this and Life is Strange. The relationships and dialogues presently are extremely well done. The simple game mechanic of recording things is fun while also adding another way to present more dialogue or thoughts. There is a lot of scene variations where at times it's simple are you doing something fast enough or other times you have to make the choice to interact with 1 character, forgoing the same chance with other characters.

The idea to swap perspective between the present and the past leads to nice storytelling where at times the choices you make in the past are referenced in the future but also the future can clue you into more choices for the past.

That being said there is a few low points. With Tape 2 now out I hear there are some crashing and save deletion/corruption bugs that hopefully will be quickly fixed. If you want explanations on how the supernatural elements within the game work then well, you will be disappointed. There is a bit of it but nothing extensive. Also without spoiling, to me the post credit scene takes away from the closure you get from the ending a bit. Even then, I would still recommend this game for the overall quality.

Great sequel to the first game with improvements in general. There are bugs, some just minorly annoying or funny while others are more breaking or sad. Definitely worth the pick up right now but also fine to just wait for more patches.

They've done it again. Great coop game that switches up its gameplay constantly. Runs stupidly smooth with no optimization or bugs. From inviting a friend to play to hitting start was incredible smooth experience.

This title really does deserve the mixed rating.

On the one hand I liked that the majority of characters we deal as well the protagonist are adults. It's a nice change of pace from the rest of the franchise. The mystery while it lasted I really enjoyed finding out new details and figuring it out. The alt universe travel/perceive power I felt was also a nice way to have some puzzles since I do feel in previous game of True Colors it was mostly just another way to find more info.

That being said, after I would say chapter 3 which is about half or two thirds of the game, quality takes a nose dive. The pacing goes out the window so does the writing. Also I don't know if this is a hot take but with how the two romances were written and how little of consequences they were, I wish they just scrapped romance in this game entirely. Maybe keep it in beginning as part introduction to Max of today but then leave it since she clearly has something else far more pressing.

And the thing about Chloe well, you either don't care for it or you probably hate it. I personally pushed through it to give the writers a chance to see how they weave her into the game and to be honest there wasn't much. Feels like they did not know what to do with her. This whole debacle could've been avoided had they simply just followed the previous titles with introducing new characters with new stories; with the exception of before the storm of course being a direct prequel to 1.

Overall I would say you could skip this one.

Main plot felt weak at times after the opening. However the character building and relationships as well as their dialogue and moments are great. Powers don't really add much gameplay or puzzle elements other than another way to gain info as cool as it is.

Freedom

They buffed a lot of stuff.

Would've been more freedom if not for the Sony debacle.

Fun and better sequel to Jedi: Outlaws. Combat is fair for the most part but may feel unintuitive at first.

Latest patch did help with removing a lot of stutters but some performance issues still remain.

Peasant Simulator.

Other games may have you start out as some chosen one or destined hero, not this game. This game has you play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Henry who can't even read or know how to swing a sword or throw a punch. But that is what makes the climb feel extremely rewarding, literally rags to riches. You start out with barely any money to your name and you can end up with enough money to buy a town or hire your own private army (not that you could sadly). You go from barely knowing how to hold a sword the right way up to killing everyone with well placed strikes.

Somethings will be difficult and cumbersome, one might even say tedious, until Henry actually "gits gud" at it. This will take awhile but overall great game.

Fun twin stick shooter with some naval combat. For the most part the gameplay is pretty simple and repetitive. Sail to island, maybe fighting pirate ships along the way with some light fishing, kill all the pirates while gathering materials to claim said island. Rinse repeat with at times some story in between. Fairly simple but fun.
