I'm honestly still shocked this game was free. Last time I enjoyed an RPG so much was during the first two gothic games almost 20 years ago.

Gets so many things right that AAA games nowadays completely fail.

The team also brought so many new and interesting mechanics to the gothic 2 engine! Quests are so well written and the story in general is amazing. No hand-holding, you will probably miss lots of stuff in your first run, and that's fine the world is so big!

Short of it is, someone should pay these people to make a studio so they can build more games. They fully proved that they're one of the few teams in this world that know how to create an amazing RPG world, with faithful gameplay design to old RPGs like Gothic.
