It's fun little danmaku shmup with plenty of personality and nice looking visuals. The boss fights are well-made and it's fun going through their different phases. The length of the game is perfect for my tastes and I didn't mind going through the game two times in the same day.

UFO 50 is super-ultra-ultimate!!! Never have I gotten this much value for my money from a video game before, let alone 50! They're mostly fleshed out too!

Those alien bastards are gonna get it for ruining my ride.

Wait... I'm quoting a wrong game. Anyway, I love DOOM and have always loved DOOM ever since the 90s. I really like what they did with the new 2024 re-release. Adding achievements was a nice touch.

Lemme just start by saying that there's a lot of shooting in this game, and it can be really, REALLY difficult at times. When you play the game for the first time and it's asking about the Easy mode, I highly recommend enabling it. You can always play the action scenes later on harder difficulties, by using the Work mode you unlock.

The game is broken into two sections: Shootouts and free time. After every shootout scene, you get some time off for hanging around in the city as you see fit, until the next assignment. You can drink in the bar, buy sleeping pills from the pharmacy, visit the art museum, have sex with a woman in her apartment (not actually shown), go to the cinema to watch a movie, etc.

It's a pretty unusual game in its structure, a fresh and very atmospheric experience, not for everyone's tastes.

A very solid kart racing game. Could have had any characters in it, but this one has Garfield ones. I liked the game enough to do all the achievements. This also has local and online multiplayer, but I only played single player.

ATTENTION: Not a meme, but a serious review.

This game has an annoying touch-screen user interface that only seems to work with a mouse, and the entire game runs badly (not quite 3 FPS, but it's bad). Also made *OBSOLETE* by Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, which improves on everything and has for all intents and purposes the same content. Play that one instead. It's actually a solid racing game, whether you're a Garfield fan or not.

A really fun game about the Finnish folklore Kalevala. You play as Väinämöinen, who is a weakling in the beginning, but after the Prelude (stage 0) he becomes an unstoppable BEAST. A bit on the easy side, even in Hard mode.

RoboCop: Rogue City started off great. It's fun to shoot bad guys, especially in the groin area. Then sometime after 10 hours, the game started overstaying its welcome quite a bit. It ended up being way too long and formulaic. I also didn't care for some of the story elements and characters.

As for the fan service: There's way too much of it, with some not making sense in the context of the game (for instance, the "Can you fly, Bobby?" graffitis on walls). It's clear that the developers were big fans of the RoboCop franchise and knew their stuff, but I wish they were handling fan service differently.

In the end, I don't hate this game. It does have its moments, but after experiencing this once, I don't feel like ever wanting to revisit it. It's simply too long with too many dull moments. If I could give this game a numerical rating, it would be 5 out of 10.

I'm a big fan of the original MSX2 game released in 2023, having bought a physical copy and completing it 100% several times. Had the pleasure of being one of the beta testers for this Steam version. This new Steam release greatly enhances the already great game and made it even better. If you're into Metroidvanias, this is a worthy game. If you're familiar with and loved 'The Maze of Galious' from 1987, then this is a must-have. Highly recommended!
