A pretty good stealth game that stays good once the stealth stops. It has all the classic lure/knockout/bypass gameplay from great stealth games, but really spreads its wings when you allow yourself to go loud. The limited quicksave function on the "True" difficulty encourages you to fight your way out of a botched job, which is typically when you realize that Intravenous 2 is much better than it has any right to be. Bonus points for surprisingly excellent weapon customization, pretty good AI, and a fitting soundtrack.

It seems like every feature needs to pass a test of asking "is this fun?" and not much else. A goofy movement shooter romp with potential for neat trickshots and little care for consistency. Great for late night coop with a friend where you want your arm muscles active but your brain fried.

The second game has a DLC that port's the first game's campaign into the second, with all the added mechanics. That said, this is a wonderfully crafted indie game bottling that revenge filled Hotline Miami tone and gameplay into something a bit more tactical and stealthy. I really enjoyed my time with this!

Early Access Review
Cheap, simple, physics based. Comedy and horror is one of the best genre combos, so I'm happy other people feel the same way. It doesn't have the intriguing atmosphere and tone of Lethal Company, but is definitely worth a few nights of fun.

Look up the other ENA animations and watch them first. They are heavily inspired by the oddly discomforting yet childish tone of older 3D video games. They even have plenty of moments where control is given to the "player" where the camera will walk around a 3D environment to get to the next character or area.

Dream BBQ is translating that into an actual interactive experience. There isn't much "meat" in terms of gameplay, so don't expect anything other than some obtuse puzzles and exploration. Maybe some minor platforming, but that would be a stretch to call it that. It's a wonderfully unique tone and atmosphere, and there is a ton of beautifully crafted animations and art to see.

For as much as it isn't my forte, I do enjoy some really abstract work every once in a while. ENA has always been fun to talk about, and there is plenty of interpretations to make about the different works. Character designs here are some of my favorite in the series, especially the coin cat in the main hub.

Episode 1 is free, with more to come as paid expansions at the time of writing. That seems fair. The first episode is definately worth your time.

By and far, one of the best single player FPS campaigns ever. I've played it over 4 times at this point, and the skill ceiling is so unbelievably fun to climb towards never fails to show me a good time. Multiplayer is best in the business, with all the same issues that a Call of Duty style FPS will give you. It's not for a bad day, but to master the best grapple hook in gaming and hop in a low-tier mech to execute a game changing play, oh my god... There isn't anything that has come out since that can compete in a similar way.

This should've become a franchise to complete with Call of Duty and Battlefield, but a bad launch window and a successful battle royale spinoff has left us in the worse timeline. There is a reason that this still gets played, and you might want to put up with whatever crappy EA launcher has been bundled with this to get it.

Worth full price, but goes on sub $5 sales. Catch it cheap if you are not sure.

Like FEAR, this is a classic that actually holds up once you get past the jank. A wonderfully designed, paced, and gameplay driven experience that's fun to think back to after the fact. I'm not as invested in the setting as other people are, but the enemies being so expressive make it hard to not have fun running through this. Extremely tight gameplay, great diversity of playstyles with the upgrades, and one of the best selection of weapons within a half-life style shooter I've seen in a while.

I'm nowhere near qualified to speak to an RTS' strength. I like management games though, and tasking, prioritizing, and curating the resources and units to set up an offensive army or defended area is pretty fun. I've been playing with friends in private servers, versus bots, and it's a quality time with lots of good spectacle and great payoffs. Destroying the planets themselves is absurdly fun. I love the fast pace, it never feels like a loss is too much with how quick the whole game plays out.

Short and simple 1v1 gunfights with odd weapons and a... Eastern European aesthetic. Very cool, fun, and free. Bring one friend. Only one.

Having each player get followed by 5 other AI teammates to switch to after they die is a really good mechanic that solves a lot of issues with this genre of game. Pretty fun, but a disgusting free-to-play model and makes the menu's look like spilled legos.
