The game overall is fun, even if the frequent balance changes make it seem like a competitive PvP shooter, rather than a fun PvE game to play with friends. Catch it on the right balance patch, and it can be a blast, or also a struggle if the devs feel like your own intended way of playing the game was "wrong".

However, Sony had to come in and ruin it all by requiring you use a PSN account to even be able to play the game.
This is an issue for countless of countries that aren't able to create a PSN account to begin with.
Sony's track record of having data breaches and thus losing all their dearly gathered data on their users, lying about it happening unless hackers call them out, doesn't add to their security reasons claim either.
No thank you, and f*** you Sony (and any other company requiring me to download their own launcher or account)

Remove DRM and this negative review will also be removed. QoL (+other) mods keep the game fun and fresh.

After Gaijin's hilarious response to the rightfully outraged player base, basically telling us that they don't give a single f* about the players but only their profits, i have to say, it's not worth it. Just play another tank/plane sim. Plenty of smaller games out there to scratch that itch, that lack the soulless grind WT forces you to go through and actually offers you fun times when playing.

Welcome to the early days of VRC's corporatization, where all that matters is that our investors are happy with the safe metaverse experience.
We ignore countless features that were requested for years, including accessibility features, as it did not align with our money bags Investors' view on the future of our metaverse! We also implemented EAC to further "increase" security against those pesky modded clients, crashers and avatar rippers (even though malicious clients have bypassed it in record time during the beta build of us implementing EAC, and some crashers being entirely dependent on unity/avatar scripts and or particle systems, etc.). That'll show the community doing a better job at implementing features than us!
Also, please disregard the fact that a couple days after announcing and implementing EAC into our wonderful social game, we suddenly added several of the heavily requested features. We totally didn't hold the features back for those years or even possibly let ourselves get "inspired" (maybe even copy pasting) by those evil community-made mods.
We solemly promise that we are a community driven *competitive PvP* social vr metaverse experience and care utmost for the happiness of our users and not only our investors.
Please be patient until we release more updates and features to further please our investors the community and bring back the alienated users from the recent events.
