This game is a janky, messy machination of unfinished goodness that will probably never get another update.

However, if you hate yourself you'll love this game. If you suck at auto-battlers you will find this game difficult. If you're good at auto-battlers you will find this game difficult.

In this game your biggest enemy is your past selves decisions. You make a broken build, you will have to fight it later.

There is no winning, only suffering, can be very repetitive, can be rng heavy. I liked it, but I like bad games.

Linelight, is a story,
a story with no words,
Just some music, sounds,
and some funny lines on a screen.

It's well made, fun and kinda relaxing,
Give it the chance it deserves and you wont regret it.

So after 48.8 hours I beat this game with a friend and in all honesty I cannot say I enjoyed it.
Don't get me wrong the game is pretty and has all the right inspirations and I'm sure the devs put a lot of work in so far but I only brought myself to beat this game to say I beat it. The worst part of this game is honestly the death system. You lose stats upon dying, you go pick up your grave, live for a while then die and lose the stats you just regained so instead of risking losing stats every boss turns into a zurg rush because if you die in succession you do not lose stats and because all the bosses are health sponges it's just better to run in deal damage, die and repeat until the boss is dead. Also the Third boss gave us more suffering than trying to defeat Malenia with no equipment in new game+8.

As the current King at difficulty 5927, I can confirm this sword is way too damn long, That is all.

Peglin is exactly what I like to see in an early access game:
1. Fun Gameplay before full release.
2. Promising roadmap moving forward.
3. Continues to deliver on promises of content without much delay.

I've already spent a lot of time turning my brain off and having fun playing this game and with the direction the games going It looks like I will continue to be able to do this for the foreseeable future. Smile :)
