Honestly I haven't worked with gmod, so I can't help you. I worked with sky textures in l4d2 and CS. Sorry I can not help you, I myself barely play this game and do not even know how to play there :D Try to watch the videos on youtube or read the forum, maybe you can find the answer.

[VN] Prism, Hi, I can't help you. After all, this takes a lot of time. Download GCFScape and learn. This program opens vpk files and you can see which files are being replaced. If you want to create your own sky, then you need programs VTFEdit and GCFScape.
