Just like everything else that has to do with "Batman" after Christopher Nolan, sucks, so does this game.
I got to play less than an hour and I crashed 4 times.

I have a 1080Ti and i7700K, which aren´t that new.

Don´t buy this, unless you have an older system or a death wish.

Bunch of mentally five year olds in Epic Games stopped supporting it on Mac OS.

Best part is, that they still allow you to download the game and have no warning whatsoever, that you can´t really play the game.

In case you still needed more proof, that Daddy Gaben is the true protector against the menace called Epic Games, then now you should have it.

I´ve had this game for quite a while already. If my memory is correct, I bought it in Alpha.

I´ve had tons and tons of fun with this game, but the sad reality is starting to kick in. The game is abandoned.

In 2020, that godforsaken year, another big blow came alongside the COVID-19: The 1.0 release of Blackwake. It was at this moment, this game´s fate was sealed. That meant there was no longer going to be any new content and it dealt a killer blow to the already dwindling player base.

Did I say dwindling? I meant to say dead. The most people you are ever going to see in this game is 1 to 2 servers of players. That´s less than a hundred players AT ITS PEAK TIME.

That small amount of players has resulted in a that same community becoming a bunch of toxic 30 year olds who cry louder than your kids in 3 AM, whenever they see a new player trying to get used to the controls and game mechanics.

I admire what a nice game the developers made. From what I could find out in google, it started out as a 2 man enterprise many-many years ago. I just wished the game could have gone to rest with a bit more dignity.

So if you are reading this review, then my suggestion is to skip this game. That ship has sailed (pun intended).

The game is well worth it´s price tag.

Starting from the amazing visuals and ending with an interesting story taking place in a revolution swept Martinaise.

Since the game was made by Estonians and I´m also Estonian, I had a moral duty to get all the achievements. If choose the path of achievement hunting should you choose to accept the challenge, It´s going to be pretty damn hard, but it´s worth it.

Thanks to the achievement hunting, I learned the game mechanics in and out and didn´t encounter any bugs whatsoever. I especially like the levelling of the character during the whole process. It can change how the story plays out.

My suggestion is to take your time playing it. Take time to appreciate the artwork and the countless dialogues that you can have with different characters. Take time to have fun.

Whilst the story was pretty... short, it was rather good.
Didn´t encounter any bugs myself, but then again, it´s not an open world game.

Is it worth the 19.99€ price tag? No.
Is it worth your time? Yes.
If you don´t care about the money and just was a nice experience, then go ahead.

It was released in 2006 and it is still imho THE BEST game in the Total War series. I guess the nostalgia also ticks in me...

I bought this game awhile back and played it for some time, wasnt impressed then, but dissappointed now. This game was rather quickly dumped, last development was mid last year "free DLC update" thats it. The game is unpolished, buggy, mid-end- game is slow (I have an GTX 1080Ti and I would constantly get 8fps) and worst of all, not worth the money. I kinda feel like I got ripped off. I did kinda like the idea of politics and etc.. but its too raw, but I could see potential in that. But, if you are reading this and see "Mostly negative" and are still considering to buy it, then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DONT. Buy Cities: SKylines with a few DLC-s and its still worth more of ur money and a better gaming experience.

3/10

So, Argo

I only needed to play 1 match to understand this game. Its a copy of ARMA, just added team vs team and other game modes. To kill an enemy you need to spray an whole 5,56 mag (except headshot).
Its badly optimised, even worse that ARMA III (how can a game be more badly optimised that ARMA, ikr) and lots of bugs and glitches. Servers, they are either 0/10 or 10/10. Spent quiate some time to search for server that wasnt full or empty.

Bohemia, plz fix
