I want to raise awareness about a malicious hacker who has been circulating on Steam. Please do not fall for this scam.

This person is posing as a Dota 2 Workshop artist and may approach you, asking you to like his artwork. Afterward, they will send you a link, claiming it's for Steam-related purposes. DO NOT CLICK on the link!

Although the link may look like an official Steam website and seem trustworthy, upon closer inspection, you'll notice that it contains “.html” in the URL—this is a clear sign that it is not an official Steam site. The real Steam login page will only use “ test-steamproxy.haloskins.io” or “ test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/steamstore” in the URL.

If you accidentally enter your Steam login credentials on a fraudulent website, your account could be compromised.

This hacker has the potential to deceive a large number of players, so it's important that we all stay vigilant. I’m asking everyone to please report this individual immediately to prevent them from scamming others.

There is no place for such malicious actors on this platform. Let’s work together to keep our Steam community safe.
