You can do nearly everything you want. You can build whatever you want.
And the community made a ton of mods!
This game is that what SimCity5 should have been!
It's the most realistic game in city-building games.

Trash stays in buildings if the garbage disposal can't handle the amount any moreNoise makes people illTraffic stucks realistic where roads are fullSewage makes everyone ill if water pumps are build downriverand so on

If you like this genre and want to realx in spare time you want make any mistake with this game.

After finishing the game it's time for my review.

Is this the Game of the Year?
If you're objective it is not. But it is my personal Game of the year by far.

This is a very good game!

Story is interesting and well presented. Nothing you haven't seen before but it's well done and some things here and there are unexpected. This isn't a story masterpiece but it works fine for what they wanted to do.

The graphics are not the best of the best but they're decent and the overall style of the game is gorgeous.

You can't complain about the open world, it's well designed an fascinating with a lot of details and lore.
Overall the world is build Ubisoft like. This means a lot of collectible stuff and very repetitive activities. You may ignore a lot of this but it's a little bit unnerving.
A minor problem is that the world is a scenery. It doesn't react to you and just exists. This may not be state of the art but it works well.

The "dungeons" are very different and well designed. Maybe a little short and no multiple ways to get to the end.

Gameplay is relatively simple but it works. This isn't the Witcher or Elden Ring.
You feel like a witch/wizard in the wizarding world of the Harry Potter Universe.
Only if there are too many enemys you'll lose the overview over the combat

In terms of difficulty, this is an easy game. Even on hard not really challenging.
At some point you'll one shot nearly every enemy. The riddles are extremely easy.

And a shoutout to the sound. The ambient sound is awesome and fitting all the time in my opinion. May it be in combat or when you're flying/wandering through the world. I could just fly around, enjoy the world with this sound.

Voice acting is on point and fitting to every character (at least in english) and they give their characters the right personality you'd expect.

But be aware, there are a lot of bugs, glitches and technical issues in the game.
Nothing game breaking but somewhat annoying over the time.

You don't have to be familiar with Harry Potter-Universe but it helps a lot if you are. This game is pure fan service.
For anyone else this is a decent game, which they should consider to buy or if this is on sale.

Oh, and i forgot something important. There are no microtransactions, no "live service" and a full release of a game and not an complete mess like many other so called games even if it has some problems.

This is the first game in years where I had this feeling i can not explain. The feeling of i'm a gamer and this is will be a fun and new experience. There is a world waiting for me to explore. It's hard to describe.
This is a fun and enteraining game and not like sth that wants you to work because of the engagement that everyone wants from you.

I hope for a second game, where they improve their actual content and add new things we missed in this game. Like Quidditch, a better choice of your house and not simply two questions. You get an idea of the scrapped content during the game and what could've been.
And as a personal preference, i hope for more classes and things like that when the next title will be released.
