I never thought I’d get into a game like Vampire Survivors. Bullet hell, auto-attacks, and roguelike elements? Not really my thing. But a friend recommended it, so I gave it a shot. Now it’s one of my go to games on my Steam Deck.

It’s one of those games that just clicks once you start playing. The progression feels great, unlocking new characters and weapons keeps things fresh, and the sheer chaos of a full build in the late game is ridiculously satisfying. It’s easy to pick up for a quick session.

If you’re on the fence, just try it. It’s cheap, runs on practically anything, and somehow manages to be both mindless and strategic at the same time. Perfect for when you just want to zone out and mow down hordes of enemies.

Just hit 200 hours in Helldivers 2, and yeah… I’m still having a blast. The chaotic teamwork, the hilarious moments of friendly fire, and the sheer satisfaction of dropping a stratagem right where you need it. This game nails co-op in a way that few others do.

But man, the content updates are kinda disappointing. We’ve barely gotten any new stratagems, vehicles, or gadgets, and they’ve been teasing weapon customization forever, but it’s still MIA. The gameplay loop is fun enough to keep me coming back, but after this much time, I can’t help but wish there was more variety.

That said, even with the lack of new content, I’m still playing every day. Something about the game just works. The moment-to-moment action is so good that I keep saying “just one more mission!”

Funny and visually stunning story. Valve did a great job at showing you all the buttons and their functions. I would say this game is a must for any new steam deck user.

This game is just amazing! The graphics are stunning and there is so much to do. I'm already 15 hours in and I have hardly scratched the story. I get distracted exploring at every turn, and the map is huge!

It’s difficult to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it.

For $10, this is as good as it gets. Pretty simple concepts to pick up, but difficult to achieve higher scores due to variation and RNG (which is honestly fine in the case of this game). I think I like Motorways better than Metro. Something about how the cars move around and the road network expands feels better compared to managing single trains. I don't have a solid grasp on exactly why that is but I'm having a blast and the whole thing feels great.

Another fine entry in the colony defense genre. The mechanics feel smooth for the most part for being an Early Access title, and while there are a few bugs and glitches, there's nothing game breaking. It's a good blend of city building, tower defense, and RTS.

TLDR: It's very addicting, easy to learn, and hard to master.

Very fun relaxing game. Graphics are stunning.
