The honeymoon period REALLY wears off after a few hours when the repetitive quest design kicks in. The game was made playable due to the Interesting NPC's mod, where there was heart and actually interesting quest premises.

The games mechanics have been catching my eye for a good few months, but I finally picked it up last sale. Very pleased I did. It's a very very fun game. It's flawed, and has a gigantic learning curve but it rewards those willing to duke it out. The game's ball blastingly $emen drenched fun if you play casually against your friends, and very enjoyable online solo.

The singleplayer is bananas. It has a lot of high profile voice actors like Jennifer Hale, Courtney Taylor, Fred Tatasciore and Robin Atkin Downes...but the story is just pants $hittlingly awful. There's potential, but the writing is written in a way where no one actually wants to communicate with each other. It loses its characterization and world building to get back balls deep into the fighting without any real drive for the player.

It's a multiplayer game with a story that acts as a tutorial, not worth 60 USD, but definately worth 25 or below.
