I have a modern gaming laptop (Ryzen 7, RTX 4060, 32 GB RAM and SSD). I normally game in full HD and 60Hz.

This is a good game, but I got stuck looking for some kind of acid. I did not watch the cutscene properly, and now I do not know what to do, so I will move on to the next game.
It booted perfectly on my system and only crashed once.
The graphics are still good enough, looking at its age.

I still recommend it because it is a good game. I don't intend to bother too much about being stuck, it is easily resolved. Yet, I have too many games to play, and I spent some hours on this game and enjoyed myself.
That's good enough for me.

I have a modern gaming laptop (Ryzen 7, RTX 4060, 32 GB RAM and SSD). I normally game in full HD and 60Hz.

This game did not have Full-HD resolution, so I ended up picking about 1280×1024, but it still looked good to me. Certainly, for its age and lower resolution. The gameplay from what I played was a lot of fun, and it is a shame that I could not find the key to access the next area. That is why I quit. I have too many games to be bothered with such things.
Still, it looked like a very fun game to me and it worked flawlessly. Played with a keyboard and mouse.

I did not have to alter any config files to make it work, nor did I have to download a file from the internet.

I have a modern gaming laptop (Ryzen 7, RTX 4060, 32 GB RAM and SSD). I normally game in full HD and 60Hz.

This game worked without the need of doing something like downloading a file or altering config files. It just worked. Could even play in Full HD.

The Xbox controller did not work, had to play with a mouse and keyboard.

The game was fun for what I played, but there is no option, it seems to turn the camera around with the mouse. So this will be tricky in shooting scenes of the game. I have too many games to be bothered with it, so I just move on to the next game. Still, it was a fun game and it worked like a charm.

Good interactive movie. I liked the writing and the acting. It performed well on my Acer Nitro V15 gaminglaptop (RTX 4060, 32GB RAM, Ryzen 7 and SSD).
Not much to say about the graphics since it is a interactive movie, the sound however was good.
I recommend the game when it is in a bundle or when it is on sale.

Date added to my steam library?

How did it perform on my Acer Nitro V 15 (RTX 4060, Ryzen 7 and extern Samsung SSD for game).

It performed very well in daily use mode. It did not launch in the past but somehow it does now. I had one crash in the beginning of the game. I did not play a lot, only 1-2 hours but all went good at 60fps.

What kind of game is it? What kind of gameplay can you expect?

It is a third person action shooting game and raising mayhem. The goal is to blow up as many things as possible which unlocks new missions.

How are the graphics and the sound?

The graphics were pretty good on max settings in Full HD on my laptop screen. For such an old game it still looks good and the explosions are very nice.
The sound is also not too bad.

Overall rating of the game?

Pretty good, I only played it for 1-2 hours but I enjoyed myself. Not a fan of the traveling far away to reach points of interest so I think I will move on to the next game and put this one in the "One Day" folder on Steam.

Worth buying in 2024?

YES

I spent an hour playing this game before realizing I needed a walkthrough. I managed to reach one ending, but then hit a dead end. The game is decent for its horror/puzzle genre, but with so many other games waiting, I'm not inclined to dedicate more time to it. I consulted a Steam guide for a walkthrough and quickly grasped that without it, I'd be stuck for hours. Fans of the horror/puzzle category will likely enjoy it immensely. However, for me, one hour and a single ending suffice.

I played on an older setup: a desktop computer with a GTX 970 graphics card, an i7 processor, and 16 GB of RAM. It performed excellently in Full HD settings.

It's a shame because it is a good game, but I cannot recommend it because it will not launch. I tried starting it in compatibility modes, but it would not launch at all. Maybe you can download a file or something like that, but I would rather not do that.
It is a shame because I played the game in the past, and it was good and fun. At least there is a remaster coming if I remember right.
So, because I cannot boot it up (at least without downloading a file or do something crazy like that) I cannot recommend it.

How did it perform on my Acer Nitro V 15 (RTX 4060, Ryzen 7 and extern Samsung SSD for game).

It performed very well and played in Full HD 60Hz. Had a good constant of 60 fps. I played with mouse and keyboard.

What kind of game is it? What kind of gameplay can you expect?

It is a co-op action game. You can expect to kill a lot of zombies. There is no leveling up system. Just shooting zombies or slashing away zombies with melee weapons

How are the graphics and the sound?

The graphics are still very nice for such an old game. The game was released in 2009 but I still like the graphics a lot. Sound is also very good.

Overall rating of the game?

This game is good. It still has an online playerbase so you will maybe start alone in a co-op game but people WILL join while you play. As said, the graphics are also very good and the gameplay is amazing. Even on modern systems the game works perfectly.
