ArtRage and Photoshop. Photoshop is mostly manditory because of the offset feature that ArtRage lacks to make tiling maps. Thanks, any map ideas floating around?

No not at all, till you mentioned it didn't even knew they existed. World building refers to my skills in creating lore and a 'world' for media projects such as games. It goes beyond 'simple' concept art.
