Avoid this game!

game engine gives less then 40frames on a 4060. even after a year of release. since release it hasn't evolved.

localizition is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. even after a year of release. since release it hasn't evolved.

gameplay feels clunky and have delays like 2sec global cooldown for actions. even after a year of release. since release it hasn't evolved.

these are major fun blocker to even start the game. it lags and if you play any localization you can't figure out ♥♥♥♥ without a 3rd party page.

rpg to delve for hours!
choices made in game do vary, matter and change the game plot. can be a source of replayability. combat relevant choices like class-build can be reverted midgame, which is very nice when all is unknown.

all chars and npc's are real-voice acted as well as all their animations are motion-captured so you won't see any 'world of warcraft' alike animations. some actores here even won awards with acting in this game.

must have for rpg fans this decade i guess!

Starfield is an unfinished game with intended game features being released as microtransactions.

im not talking about the DLC's.

ie: Trackers Alliance quest for 7$:

1st quest of a 3-part questchain you get for free,

2nd is 7$

3rd ?? $

THIS IS ♥♥♥♥. if we do this, this will go crazy.

Starfield became an avoidable

Fun game.

The game is not really on point with graphics but after a couple of hours it doesn't really matter anymore. It's about crafting and micro management of a feudal alike village settling down.

If you like the genre, the game is awesome. a huge plus is the neverending workshop content which multiply playing time.

20h of fun.

bought it along with Grim Dawn in a halloween sale and this is by far better then GD for me.

pro:
+raphics are nice, effects are nice
+weapon skill system is easy and you don't have to study 3rd party pages to progress
+gear upgrading is fun too but need alot of time/afford to upgrade, timesink

minus:
-you will have a voice actor talking to you all the time. triggered on locations, if you visit the same point again, you have to listen to all that again. you will have to visit places over and over again to delve and achieve everything.
-loot. i've got a weapon on level 12 and completed the game on 38 with this weapon. no upgrade really.
-german translation got errors. ie recipe book strings completly missing and or mis alligned with other stuff. so toggle on english to have access to ingame knowledge.
-repeative game. i've finished it on level 38 of possible 50 with my level 12 weapon. dungeons/zones got up to 5/10 achievements to be challenging but in the end it was to repetive for me so i didn't go for it.

a good game following the famous dungeon keeper playstyle, maybe for a younger audience.
thus the main campaign the two of the DLC heart of gold and my pet dungeon feels quite a bit short. there is also a map editor but it is limited in just drawing things on the map. i expected a little more scripting for events or AI.
there are cosmetic skins via achievements to be unlocked. fun.
the announcer's voice is getting annoying after 40h playtime.

there was no more for me to play after 90h playtime. have seen everything been everywhere. the workshop should be extended beyond only supporting maps. could multiply game expirience in my opinion.

the game seems to lag and to rubberband once a map seems to be played excessivly. (40+ minions, every room built...)
