Very well remake from the original. I see reviews elsewhere mentioning the facial features being an issue though that doesn't seem as big as they say. Overall 10/10 would get all the endings again.

Wait for a sale. If you like the first game, you'll love this game. Though, at it's current state it's missing a lot compared to the first game, it's got base game stuff, with some new slimes, a new map, new food, maybe some new gadgets, but it's pretty barren compared to the first game and not worth the price at the moment.

If you don't have the time. Overall, 8/10 I thought it was enjoyable but definitely not worth the price point.

It's hard to really say whether or not I recommend this game. Playing it is a way different experience than actually watching it but if you're not interested in games that have environmental storytelling and lots of walking and admiring the beautiful work put into the game then do not get this game and watch it instead.

The game itself is really beautiful and intricately detailed with some rather stunning environments. It's story is rather confusing at first, but once you watch or play it back through you start to put the pieces together.

The combat is where the game stumbles a bit. Pretty much all enemies have projectile throwing attacks that require you to either strafe to the side or maneuver around. Most of the times you can just walk around them but you will run into instances where you wish the strafing speed was way quicker. This mostly counts towards the beginning worm creatures and a later enemy where cheezing the projectiles can come in handy.

Valheim has been a pretty chill and calming game to return to. The visuals are nice and the gameplay is rather enjoyable. Now just to retrieve my stuff from the sea serpent.

Completed a little over an hour, was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much too it besides the two chapters that have about 142 elements. The game has been copy pasted so many times throughout the years and it's obvious someone is in it for the money with that full price tag of $19.99 as of this review. I got it for pretty much a dollar so I wasn't really concerned too much about it because that's how much a title like this is worth,

You know how a Doodle God usually goes. You start out with your basic elements and you click and mix two together to make a new element. You do this repeatedly again and again until it's completed. I pretty much only got it to waste time. It would have more replayability if they just made one single game with all the expansions they've made to it instead of having all these smaller ones.

Wardwell House is a unique pick in the horror genre that I've played recently.

GAMEPLAY
The game play consists of looking around 360-photos at objects to view the thoughts and story of the world and the character. A different thing that is rather reminiscent of old point and click horror games, but this time with a twist. In most areas the only mode of progression is to search for all the viewable items that come in the form of orange dots so you can proceed.

STORY
The story is nothing spectacular, but it is rather nice in world building. You are stranded on an island after what was weeks on the water. You wander into the forest in search of food, drinkable water, shelter, life, or all of the above. Something to help you fix your broken boat as well. As you venture in the spooky atmosphere starts to kick in as you gain a feeling that something is watching you. The only thought you have is that you need to get somewhere safe, so you'd do what any logical person would do. That's right, head deeper into the woods and happen upon the dilapidated house.

PROS/CONS
Pro's
- Decent Atmosphere to bring you in
- Unique feel to a horror game genre

Cons
- You get stuck at some scenes where the only way to progress is to just wait for the arrow that lets you proceed appears.

FINAL RATING

7/10 The game is pretty decent, but isn't the greatest execution. It would be nice to see more from this developer though.

Definitely a refresher in horror as of late, a pretty neat and intense atmospheric horror. The game throws you in as a sort of mortician with some sinister background plot thrown in later. It appears there's going to be a bit of puzzles involved and figuring things out by testing.

However, something that kept bugging me is the seemingly useless lines of dialogue thrown in. Your character will explain certain little things he does like putting a key on a key ring or something small. I admit I do this in real life a couple times when I'm on my own so maybe the person who decided this choice does the same.

Other than that I overwhelmingly enjoyed the experience and can't wait to see what the full product is.

116 Hours played, but returned to this a few times to see what was happening.

116 of wonderful hours of nostalgia and building. I was ecstatic when I first played this on the Ipad, but then disappointed when Android didn't get it later. Even after all this time I still loved this game, maybe in a more bitter sweet sense.

Overall Gameplay:

It runs like this, you first start out in the tutorial learning the mechanics: mining, flying, crafting, leveling items, etc. You are then opened into the server worlds with varying level designs that come with their own unique characteristics and items. Certain islands required you to prep certain gear like the desert needing you to have water on you. Your main goal in the beginning is to mainly grind exp from the mobs so you can level up your crafting skills. The more crafting skills you have the more you can use the resources you've acquired to actually build something worthwhile.

Beyond the paywall:

There's a couple gold member specific worlds such as the cave world as well as the ability to make your own public servers. These servers will allow you to get more in touch with your creative side instead of having to worry about players joining your world and nabbing all your loot. As far as this goes, nothing much more I can think of.

Ratings
Gameplay: 9/10
Building: 8/10
Combat: 5/10
Enjoyability: 9/10
Nostalgia: 10/10
Necessary Microtransaction Purchase? Not really

You'll always hold a special place in my memories, Deepworld and Bytebin. It's sad to see Deepworld closing its doors one final time. Hope to see more from these devs in the future!
