En serio.

Un juego INCREÍBLE y maravilloso. De momento solo tengo dos quejas: niveles de sonido y algunos bugs relacionados con audio (no he visto en 4 horas ningún bug a nivel de gameplay) y la optimización del videojuego. Hay zonas que con una RTX 4080, van a 60 fps con frame generation activado, y eso es terrible... pero bueno, Unreal Engine 5 siendo Unreal Engine 5 XD
el juego en sí es super divertido, hay mucha exploración, mucha planificación, gestión de inventario... y me encanta.

Fácilmente uno de los mejores juegos de terror y de cooperativo que puedes jugar a día de hoy.
Es una maravilla para los amantes del terror y de lo paranormal, y por encima te pasas unos buenos momentos con tus amigos e incluso algunos desconocidos en multijugador.
Jugando Single Player es más difícil, pero sigue siendo una opción totalmente válida para disfrutar de este juegazo. Lo mejor? Es que aún es Early Access, y lo siguen mejorando casi todos los meses. Merece 100% la pena.

[UPDATED] Servers are WAY more stable now. Not perfect, but now it is very playable! Now THIS is what I wanted, great fun with friends and even with randoms! This is super fun. And btw, this is NOT PAY TO WIN. a PVE game should never be marked as pay to win, since there is no real advantage from player to player.

[ORIGINAL REVIEW] I hate to do this, but I have to NOT recommend this game AS OF TODAY.
It sucks to not recommend a game just because of technical issues and not because of the game itself.

The game is extremely FUN, but only when you really get to play with people. The problem that we are facing now is that servers, at least on PC, work terribly, and it's insanely hard to join other players and play with a group of people. As of now, your only option is to solo the missions and try your best. However, even if you play solo, sometimes you can get sudden server disconnects and lose all your progress in that mission.

This game needs fixing ASAP, spending 40€ in a game that I CAN'T play is frustrating. I hope I can change this review in the near future and say that I DO recommend the game, but it's not the case right now.

It's funny because I am still in Chapter 12 and haven't fully finished the game.
But there is no need to even finish it to realise that we are upon one, if not, the best remake of a videogame ever made.
Some might kill me for what I am about to say, but this even feels like an improvement over the original game, which is pretty crazy, to be honest. It is a perfect balance between remake and re-imagination, and it just feels great.
Also, PC version is smooth as hell, playing with max settings + Ray Tracing and it works at 120 fps in my 3080 ti (no upscaling or anything). What a wonderful experience and definitely one of the best games of this year. So happy.

If you love games packed up with action, great graphics, great physics: play this.
Beware: the story can be a bit confusing and very ambiguous, but that doesn't mean it's bad. But if you really want to know a lot about the characters and lore, you have to read A LOT of notes!

Well, not only I played over 100 hours on PC, but I did also play 50 hours on Xbox. To be honest I never had any kind of expectations with this game before its release, so I first played it without any of the hype many had.
Yes, the game has bugs sometimes. Yes, the AI isn't the smartest. Yes, the game has some RPG design flaws. But to be honest, the whole package is still unbelievably good. Not only you have a huge city to explore, with hundreds of side quests, small stories, lore and easter eggs. But you also have an amazing main story with many different endings that makes you want to play the game again to figure out what happens if you take different actions. Aside from this: graphics are insane, gunplay and stealth are very fun. Soundtrack is amazing. Character development is superb. Overall immersion is 10/10.
Again, this game is not perfect, but it is a work of art, and hopefully you will experience it as much as I did with my different playthroughs. Also, Free DLC is on the way, which that is an added bonus.
Seriously, if you love great stories, good action, and also the whole cyberpunk atmosphere, this game is a must play for you.

Finished the game in Hardcore as my first playthrough. The game is really good, probably one of the best of the franchise. Story is very slow, though, in fact you don't know what's really going on until the very end.
Characters are full of personality, and there is a very nice balance between horror and action. It's a game that kinda tries to be a bit like Resident Evil 4, but also wants to keep the essence of the original games. Really well done, and I'm very happy for having spent my time in this masterpiece!

There is nothing better than to play Resident Evil 7 right before playing Resident Evil Village (the sequel).
I can say this game is really good, especially as a Resident Evil Game. Despite being a first person perspective (the franchise has never done that before in its main line of games), it has many features that were present in the original Trilogy of games: Backtracking, Item management, Safe Rooms, Item Vaults, Special Keys to unlock different rooms, etc etc.
Don't get fooled by some who might say this is NOT a Resident Evil game just because it's First Person and just because there are no zombies. The game is SCARY. Very Scary at some moments, and even if it doesn't have zombies, the plot is very interesting, and it connects with the rest of the franchise.
I'm excited for Village!
