I was already hyped for this game fro mthe countless posts I saw of Landfall, but finally playing it... I was REALLY surprised that it plays and feels even better than it looks on the videos! It's smooth, it's fun, it's simple, yet challenging at times and it seems like it'll have some nice level variety and challenges on the full release. Not to mention the artstyle and the characters are right up my alley. The OST... That was by far the biggest surprise yet. I'll probably replay this demo over and over until release. Landfall never disappoints.

I was a big fan of Dark and Darker when it first came out, and this game scratched that itch, and added way more compelling features. The gameplay was smoother, the classes way more interesting, the overall experience was a lot better, and I had a lot of fun both playing solo, as I did with friends.

That being said, I feel like it might turn out to be another case of management's poor decision making jeopardizing a good game. The decision to merge SA and NA servers into a megaserver is abysmal, and proven to fail in other games of similar genres. It gets ping higher to NA players, it kills SA pings completely, and just makes the experience awful.

Also had some bad experiences with crashes lately, the kind that would keep the game running in the background afterwards taking 5GB of RAM, and wouldn't close without a restart.

Truly a great series, and a game with great potential. But not even nostalgia could make me enjoy this game. The combat system is nothing more than a button masher, and only M1 at that. You can't really bring all the mechanics to fruition and make them work in your favour to make cool manuevers and whanot. Dodging is clunky as hell, parrying is as well, and the overall experience is just not fun. I hope they make this game great someday, but at its current state, it's truly, truly not.

Esse é o melhor jogo Battle Royale que já joguei na vida. E mesmo pelo preço alto, resolvi compra-lo na pré-venda. Joguei o segundo e terceiro beta em 2021, e fiquei maravilhado. Dito isso, se você quer um jogo com uma empresa que presta atenção em seus jogadores, se importa e é honesta, eu recomendo que você fique BEM LONGE de Naraka Bladepoint.

Os testes que joguei tinham servidores localizados em São Paulo, e era satisfatório demais desfrutar da sua mecânica fluidin, acertar um parry bem colocado, dar um dodge na hora certa, entre outros. E nada do que torna esse jogo excelente é desfrutável com um ping de 150. Que é o ping que os brasileiros precisaram enfrentar até o fim de agosto, e até ali, ainda terão que pegar americano com ping alto, quando a fila brasileira estiver com poucos jogadores. A idéia era juntar as filas para ninguem ficar tempo demais esperando por partida. Essa ideia não foi testada propriamente, foi dito que foi um "erro físico" e dois dias depois do lançamento eles falaram que vão "começar a implementar" essa tecnologia, com previsão de término em DUAS SEMANAS.

No fim das contas, o jogo é bom, mas o descaso com os jogadores que, de acordo com moderadores do discord, formam 15% das vendas totais do jogo, esses desenvolvedores não merecem mais a boa fé que eu já dei a eles. Não sei se conseguirei meu refund, mas se não conseguir, e jogar nesse novo servidor, atualizo essa review.

EDIT(06/07/2023): Agora vão deixar o jogo F2P, e a única recompensa pra quem comprou é gold pra usar dentro do jogo 🤡 tenho pena dos devs que se esforçaram pra fazer um jogo daora, pra liderança do estúdio cagar nas decisões de novo e de novo.

I didn't expect to like this game as much as I did. Good story, not so long, neither too short, fun battle system, and good art.

I recommend this game to both fans of the genre, and those not so fond of it as well~

It made me gasp. It made me yell. It made me want to rip my heart out of my ribcage. It made me think for long periods of time upon certain choices, that left a hole in my chest later. It made my eyes melt.

I hate this game.

I struggled to become skilled in combat, become a strong magic user, only to be killed by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arrow on my way to a birthday party.
