The gameplay is fun, but the story is ass.

I had a lot of fun with exploring the beautiful landscape/cityscape. But towards the end of the story I just wanted to get it over with, I didn't really care about any of the characters barring one, whom you meet near the beginning of the game. The Parkour Puzzles were probably the most satisfying part of the game.

Great piece of kit, I've mainly used this when playing games like Mech Warrior or Ready or not, any game really that uses A.I team mates that you command. But It works great for other games and inputs too. Theoretically you could use it for anything.

All in all, a Good shout, literally.

I love the half life series. Half life 2 is still one of my favourite games. This allows you to experience such a beloved game in an all new way that puts you right into the action.

I honestly can't get over how good this mod is. The level of work put into it is incredible.

A game with a fundamentally good concept, unfortunately it feels more like a demo than a full game.

If this was expanded upon to be a larger game world or with extra levels and more to do it would be fantastic.

All in all a fun little game that's relaxing and easy to unwind to. Get it on sale for best value.

Rock 'n' Stone!

Am I playing a game here or is this a damn movie? Got seriously bored and couldn't make it through the intro.

That's right. 1.4 hrs in and barely even played the game. Terrible.

This game is pretty and atmospheric, but it leaves a lot to be desired, I would not be happy with paying the full asking price for this game.

As far as story goes it's your pretty basic Sci-fi Horror/space mystery. Nothing that hasn't been done a ton of times before.

As far as gameplay, well there's not really a ton of that, a few little puzzles a bit of exploring the station through the perspective of different cameras and systems.

All in all this game feels more like a tech demo, with it's short play time, it almost seems like a "look what we could do".

A more indepth and longer story with real choices and branching story archs could have really made this game shine.

All in all I enjoyed the game, it was a nice experience and refreshing to break the norm that other games so often enforce.

Would I recommend this at the asking price. Absolutely not.

But if you like your Sci-Fi mystery stories such as 2001 space Odyssey, then you'll probably enjoy this for a lazy afternoons entertainment.

If you're going to buy it, buy it on sale.

For an early access game it really is quite fun, I've put in 62+ hours at this point and managed to create a 2 Schooners and a couple of sloops.

One issue is the durability loss of ships means a lot of maintenance, I understand why this is in place to stop the world from being flooded with unused ships but the durability of ships and the loss over time does need to be addressed. (UPDATE) Ships now no longer take damage whilst anchored or at such a reduced rate it's hardly noticeable.

Remember this game is early access, most of the negative reviews are people who seem to have forgotten this or don't understand the concept of an early access title.

My review is from the standpoint of a PVE experience.

It's a great game and I can't argue with that price. Well worth the money.

Honestly some of the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time.
