Comforting, engaging, joyful, addictive. These are just a few words I’d use to describe Stardew Valley.

I first played this game soon after it was first released, and even back then, it was packed full of content. I have since revisited Stardew Valley years later, and I am blown away with the sheer amount of additional updates this game has received since its first release. The fact that a game of such high quality was developed by a single person is nothing short of incredible.

This game is absolutely worth your time. Buy it and don’t look back.

Outer Wilds is one of the most unforgettable and uniquely brilliant games I have ever played and deserves to be played by anyone who enjoys video games as a medium.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that Outer Wilds changed my understanding of what a video game could be in a way that I don't think has happened since the switch to 3D with Mario 64.

The biggest flaw with The Outer Wilds is that you can only play it for the first time once. If I could wipe my memory of any game and replay it fresh, this would 100% be it.

This review would be much longer but the entire point of Outer Wilds is to go in with as little knowledge as possible. Trust the positive reviews, take a leap of faith and play this game and the DLC completely blind. You will not regret it.

Not in the same league as The Binding of Isaac / Hades etc, but it's pretty good.

The combat can get a little repetitive and I wish there were a larger variety of items, but there is still fun to be had here. The boss battles are decent and there's a good selection of catchy tunes and fun encounters with NPC's.

If you're a fan of roguelikes then it's well worth picking up on a sale.

It's criminal how cheap this game is considering the sheer value you get out of it.

I've been playing Vampire Survivors since early in its development and it's been a joy to see the constant updates by a developer who clearly cares about his craft.

Although the game is a simple 'reverse bullet hell' on the surface, it holds an absolute ton of secrets and unlockables that will keep you coming back for one more go. Before you know it, hours will have passed.

There's a reason why the game has popularised the genre and spawned a load of Vampire Survivors clones. At its core, the game is just so bloody FUN. It's really as simple as that.

All I can suggest is to buy this game immediately.

What do you get when you combine Tony Hawk's with The Matrix? Rollerdrome.

Buttery smooth gameplay that just feels so damn cool to experience. Nailing that transition between slow motion shooting and scoring tricks is very satisfying.

Campaign itself is short but the levels demand to be replayed. Whether it's to complete challenges, chase a high score or just jump in for a quick session.

The only let down for me were the boss battles — made sense for the campaign story but felt lacking compared to the main gameplay loops.

Much of the quality of Rollerdrome is wrapped up in game feel — you really need to play it for yourself to understand what makes it so good. Would fully recommend.

Stylish visuals, responsive controls you can customise and an excellent soundtrack to boot.

Considering this is completely free, I was pleasantly surprised. A good taste of what's to come for the full game!

Anyone who's a fan of rhythm games should 100% check this out.

Really fun platformer packed with charm and humour.

Great variety of levels keeping the game feeling fresh. OST is generally superb with some really memorable tunes. Difficulty is somewhere in the middle with optional challenges if you want to turn it up a notch (Death Wish is brutal).

Had minor issues with the camera at times but it did not detract from the overall experience.

Two main DLC's are a great addition which should both be played, especially the Nyakuza Metro.

Older gamers familiar with Banjo-Kazooie, DK64 etc will feel right at home here!

I have grown up playing a huge variety of 2D/3D platformers going back to the NES and SEGA days. I can confidently say that Celeste is right up there with the all time platforming greats.

Controls and level design are such important components to a successful platformer and Celeste knocks it out of the park on both fronts. Controls are extremely sharp, responsive and feel satisfying to execute. The game is packed with clever puzzle platforming that often makes you smile after persisting through trial and error to solve the way forward.

No doubt about it, even the main story can be difficult for the average gamer. The game relies on challenge both mechanically and for the narrative. Then there are the bonus levels and chapters that takes the difficulty even further beyond. Chapter 9 will test even the most seasoned gamer to the absolute limit.

What makes Celeste unique is how I never found myself frustrated at the game for dying. It took me a grand total of 4,460 deaths to obtain 100% achievements on Celeste and not a single death made me angry. The levels are designed so well that no death feels cheap or the fault of the game. Every death is undeniably the fault of the player and only serves as one small stepping stone to improvement.

The story was a pleasant surprise filled with charm and with a heartfelt portrayal of mental illness through the main character, Madeline. Doubt, anxiety and failure are emotions we're all familiar with and Celeste deals with these tough themes in a highly effective manner with Madeline's journey up the mountain. Combined with self-reflection and the resolve to keep going, the story makes the player all the more inspired to never give up and aim for the summit.

Celeste has an incredible soundtrack that perfectly matches the rest of the experience. You know a video game soundtrack is impressive when you find yourself playing the music outside of the game. "Resurrections", "Reach for the Summit" and "Farewell" are especially good. Full credit to Lena Raine for composing these.

Overall, I would infinitely recommend Celeste to anyone that enjoys the platforming genre. It was a truly special experience from start to finish and I can only wish that I could wipe my memory and experience it all again for the first time.

One of the greatest games I have ever played.

My original playthrough back in 2015 blew me away and far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined from a video game. It was hard to put into words how much I enjoyed Geralt's adventure and once I had reached the end of my journey, I was left with an empty feeling longing more. Very few games exist that have managed to achieve this.

6 years later I have picked up the game once more and completed another playthrough. The game holds up so well it could easily have been released yesterday.

The gameplay, the narrative, the world design, the soundtrack, the visuals, the meaningful player choice. It would take an endless essay to run through the positives of each of these elements. What makes The Witcher 3 truly special is how these elements come together to create a believable world so immersive you easily forget that you're playing a video game. The world of The Witcher 3 is so vast and grand, yet it's the tiny moments and constant attention to detail that makes it a triumph.

The two main DLC expansions are both stupidly impressive and packed with so much content and polish that they could easily get away with being their own standalone games. It would be almost criminal to play the main game and ignore the DLC's.

Also special mention to Gwent, a card game within a game that is so addictive that if you bought The Witcher 3 JUST for Gwent, you would still get your moneys worth.

This is an RPG that has defined an era and has solidified itself as one of the great masterpieces of the game industry. I will be forever grateful to Andrzej Sapkowski and the amazing talent at CD Projekt Red for making this game a reality.

It's crazy to think just how far this game has come since the original flash game.

The sheer amount of content added with this DLC is hard to comprehend. It took me around 300 hours to complete every achievement in Afterbirth+ and Repentance will easily double this.

There has been a lot of item rebalancing and hard mode is actually genuinely hard now. As great as Afterbirth+ was, it became far too easy to break the game once you unlocked most of the items.

The Antibirth content is a very welcome addition to the main game and the new final bosses are brilliantly designed. A definite step up from Delirium and a more fitting 'true' final boss.

One of the best parts of the DLC involves a secret discovery hidden away behind a certain red door and one that will keep completionists busy for a very long time if they want to unlock everything.

Repentance is the magnum opus of the Isaac series and a fitting way to wrap up such an incredible game.
