RuneScape: Dragonwilds

I played solo.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds plays like a mix of Enshrouded and Valheim, blending survival mechanics with the familiar RuneScape skill system. It doesn’t necessarily introduce new mechanics, but it does feel like a fresh experience overall.

The pacing is well balanced—not overly grindy, but still rewarding. Exploration plays a huge role here. Different biomes and mobs, and if you're into lore, there's depth to be found. Quest markers are minimal, so players need to pay attention and actively explore to discover quests or rare masterwork weaponry.

Visually, the game looks good—sometimes too bright and occasionally fuzzy/foggy, which might be tied to playing on lower graphic settings. Still, a game of this caliber shouldn’t have that issue - and I suspect this will be addressed in the future. The sound design is excellent and adds to the atmosphere.

There are free roaming mobs, dungeons(Vaults) to be found and bosses in the wild/instanced. Loot follows the classic archetypes—cloth for magic, iron for melee, and special masterwork weapons. Skills unlock through interaction with the world—cutting trees levels lumbering, which in turn unlocks new abilities.

Stability-wise, the game is rock solid. I didn’t hit a single bug or crash. However, once I finished exploring and found all the quests, there wasn’t much left to do.

Final Verdict:
I give Dragonwilds an 8/10. It's fun and packed with potential. Some minor balance tweaks are needed—food and water drain a bit fast—and quest discovery could be more intuitive. That said, I definitely recommend it, especially knowing it’s only going to improve from here.

Beside that, the game wasn't for me now either. A lot has changed, and for the better.
For those who enjoy the genre, its a good game!

Beat the game, 1h 45 seconds. I need more, it was a fun idea, which could be enhanced with further upgrades. Good job!

Deserves much more - It's an amazing game!

Not a battlefield game. As a battlefield lover.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, though the combat can feel a bit wonky at times. I had a great time up until around level 50, when the experience quickly turned into a grind. One of the biggest frustrations is the auction house, which only uses tokens bought with real money. On top of that, there's no option to trade directly with friends. The game has a lot of potential, but it’s not quite there yet. Still, I’m hopeful the developers will listen to feedback and keep improving it as they have so far.

There are two "battlepasses" in the game. Somewhat p2w honestly.
No items you recieve by purchase will be able to be used on any other character.
Weapon skins and character locked.
No shared bank for your account. Also character lock.

For now, Im giving it a bad review honestly.

I really enjoy the game! It can be a bit hard to get into as there are loads of things that arent exactly explained but, help exist on the internet, just a google away.

I'm litteraly doing all side quests to make a better review later.
