Great game. I just finished playing the Return of the Obra Dinn, which to my surprise turned out to be just my thing. When I looked for similar games, The Case of the Golden Idol popped up as a suggestion. It's overall easier than Obra Dinn, but very satisfying in its own way.

The art style is very distinctive, and the music is perfectly fine. The gameplay is what makes it worth the money, though.
