Play this game and the prequel. Do not play it for the gameplay, play it for the story, the gameplay is passable, the story made me literally pee from my eyeballs...

Japanese culture, fun fighting, a story that swerves between absurd and breathtaking at the smallest of intervals and a metric ton of minigames and bizarre encounters certainly make Yakuza 0 an enjoyable romph for every japanophile and an amazing place to start the Yakua series with.

This is definitely an awesome game. It has a unique, picture book-based art style as well as an intriguing gameplay concept, carefully deconstructing the tropes of hack and slay rpgs (Diablo 1 foremost) and reassembling it into something entirely new yet eerily familiar. It does not have the depth of diablo equipment or customization wise, but imo it has more of the roguelike-addictivenes going for it.

I definitely recommend this game to anyone liking hack and slay rpg's and roguelikes alike, it poses a challenge while totally allowing cusomization of your difficulty to fit your personal tastest, it can thus either be crushingly difficult, forgiving or just the right amount of challenging, perfectly fitting your skill as a gamer and your current mood.

It is certainly worth it alone for the purpose of supporting this fine developer who has planned to make this only the first in a line of 7 games, each aiming at deconstructing another very familiar game and albeit Book of Demons is yet to achieve full realease (although it already feels incredibly polished) I am already looking forward to their next game.

Better story than Zestiria, fun fighting system, great humor and character chemistry. Me gusta.

Honestly, cannot agree with the negative revies worth jack, my game is running smoothly, never crashed so far and I only needed to deactivate the 4 special Nvidia effects, aside from that it is running superbly at max settings and I only have a GTx 680 and barely fulfill the processor requirements.

Also, I find the handling of the batmobile highly intuitive and very rewarding, yes, you will not be able to drive it never having played any game with car driving as if you were the Batman himself, but after about half an hour it works perfectly.

Aside from that, the entirety of the game, being the Batman is as rewarding and awesome as it has been in its 2 predecessors and their odd, but still loveable third adopted child, there are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of imporvements in the ways you can discard of enemies and travel through the city...
