X3 is phenomenal! I was introduced to X2 years ago by a mate. It took me months of gameplay to build up a few factories in one sector causing a market crash, I didn't play it again. But with the new stock exchange it's easy to turn a few trade runs into millions of credits. Currently I have four factories each with a transport and escort fighter and a fleet of four heavy fighters and a frigate.
