Edit: Game has been officially abandoned by the devs, don't bother

This game has potential but is not ready yet. I would still recommend playing The Movies over this. Off the top of my head, here are some of the things I noticed that ruined the game for me. I would like to note that I started my studio at the earliest possible date, which is the 1920's if I remember correctly
- Hard mode is broken. I made my first movie, it won some awards. Cool. I make my second movie, it pulled almost 1 million dollars on release. Amazing. I never made a profitable movie again. I made sure my movies were correctly themed, I got good actors for them, I had all the latest tech for my stages that you could possibly get, etc. and I still lost money on EVERY movie after that 1 million movie. The point where I dropped the game was when I made 2 movies that were the highest rated movies and neither really won any awards. My highest was a movie with an 85 rating, the winner had a rating of 73. For some reason, hype matters for how well a movie will do award wise, which is terrible in a game like this.
- Stocks are broken. These are the only reason I was able to do whatever I wanted. I made more money than I lost no matter how much I spent because I had 50% in the most successful studio ASAP, eventually having 50% in every other studio. There's also a bug with stocks where if you are at 50% and try to buy more, not only will it not purchase more but you will lose the money from the failed transaction.
- There's an option in game where employees can ask for a raise. I enable this option since it makes sense for people who work a lot and work well to get a raise. This option is unfortunately broken if you play for a bit and then reload your save. The moment you reload your save, you will be bombarded with basically every employee asking for a raise. This would happen time and time again. The last load I did before I quit had 60+ people ask for a raise. You can turn the option off but the game becomes a bit dull with it off.
- Similar to that, there were times where I would unlock a currently trendy genre only for the trendy genres to immediately change after doing so. It didn't always happen but it happen often enough to be mentioned. It is possible that it was just bad timing but I'm fairly certain of this. Ignore this point if I'm wrong.

Those were the blaring issues I noticed. The game has work to do and the potential is there but as of writing this, I would rather go play The Movies instead.
